Besides it looks badass when your motor sits so low. I had the stock mounts before and i can honestly say that i wouldnt go back to em. Your swap is lookin good too. Cant wait to see it finished. Good luck man

So wait a second. Hockey pucks? How does that work? So you drilled some holes through the pucks? I want my motor to sit clean and low more info please...

I see you went with the hockey pucks. Youre a smart man. Some people would probably frown upon this but i have to say that i couldnt be happier. I had the stock mounts in before and then i wrecked and ripped them in half. But i wouldnt go any other way. THe hockey pucks actually help get the power to the ground better because of less flex. I only used one hockey puck but two should do. It will be a little higher but will work none the less. I just took about a 6 inch piece of all thread and drilled a hole in the hockey puck and threaded it through. Swap looks great man. I cant wait to see it finished and props to a fellow rb20 supporter. THere are too few of us.

LOL. No tophat for me. Screw that. If it gets bad reviews on nico I wont mess with it!

But yes it will be running PS just took the fins out and ordered the hard line from nico seller. For AC i can use the KA right? i would be so happy if its that easy.

the show must go on! lol

money couldnt be coming any slower but I must continue to get things done, so I went to the junkyard and found a full pignose front end and a set of j30 brake calipers. grabbed some sentra se-r rotors and dropped it all in no problems.

fenders and hood:

I have the bumper too just havent put it on yet:

dojo carbon pedals for fun:

j30 dual piston brake upgrade:

Hopefully I can put the motor in on one of the next sunny days but we'll see....

So im still a little unhappy with the height of the motor. Im thinking about going with 1-1/2 hockey pucks (right now its sitting on 2 pucks). Other than that Im really happy. Thanks to CarlH the wiring is pretty much done except a couple little things on the lower harness. I have most of the wiring hookd up at this point. Next is the turbo and the intake. Ill update soon!

I hadnt got around to that yet. I was thinkin I could just keep the rb compressor. Wat do you recommend? I know the ka is a little bit of work to swap out. Either way id have to get ac lines made.

i was talking to my friend about it and he said there is a bracket you can buy for the ka compresser and then just extend the stock lines. im gunna wait till it gets a little warmer to actually gut under my car and check it out though.

the swap is coming along nice im digging the colors im in the process of painting mine all red
