Project S14 2JZ

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

I finished this swap last year and i didnt even notice i havent posted it up on NICO well here it goes!!!

My step father and I have started on project 240. It has a long way to go, but it will all workout in the end i hope. The swap thats taking place is a 2JZ GTE into my 240sx.

The original motor that once took the empty spot in the bay was a SR20DET, but I could never see it making power I wanted. It was a tossup between the RB26 & the 2JZ.

On to the pics

Went to the track a few weeks ago [Pics Below] and ran a 14.3 first pass. I didn't warm up the tires or anything just went for it and also didn' t go all out. Second pass i ran a 13.5 with a small burnout and a bit more gas from 1st gear as the first pass i didnt give it to her until 3rd gear.

For the first time driving the car & the first time ever at the track i had fun. I know the car is good for a high 11s pass, but i would need more seat time before i hit anything like that.

VOLK GT-U 18x9 +37 "245" & 18x10 +44 "275"

with a 20mm spacer all around....might drop it to a 10 or 15mm spacer and get a bigger tire in there

Awesome! That helps me out plenty. Do you have rolled fenders?

I want to run this set up (17x10 +12 /275 tire) in the rear and was wondering if I will have any issues. After reading you have +44 offset and 20mm spacers then I can run +24. I am hoping with a little pull I can get away with buying rims with out researching
