Rubin and Ben,Talked to Carlos today... he said he doesnt think his car will be ready but he is comming to the meet anyway. He will be riding down with me and Dee.

Cool, do you still have my cell number, if not I will give it to you again. I will either be by myself in my s14 or my old s14 with new owner and me with my new M3. Another friend will maybe come down with his spec v also. I still need to call him though.

There is a small chance that I might come to the meet. I dont have a Girlfriend right now, so I might not go. Its not worth wasting $150+ to take a girl who is just a friend to prom. It just depends.

He "Carl" will let you, or I will beat the crap outta him, he is my best friends "basically brother, well so is Carl" little brother and I own him!!!jk carl. Anyways, Carl is cool as hell. Hopefully he will have his car sold by then to buy mine so I can buy my new one, lol!!!

I'd love to have you come Brian, but I think you realy should go to your prom. I just went with a friend of mine when I went and had a great time! It's like something you gotta do before you leave high school!!

Hey rubin just incase your boy want let Ben Drive your old car I will let Ben drive mine plus Rubin you want to test out the redrocket and see how she'll run maybe I will finally be able to hit some 14's by the meet who knows besides pay day needs to hurry up and get here

Thanks for letting Ben drive your car if my boy dosen't, "which he will let Ben drive, turst me".

The BMW runs 14.0 flat in the quarter, we will just have to see now, I am so excited.

I went to the BMW dealerships here in Cinci today and test drove a 99 M3. Wow, what a car, I have a good inside guy at one dealer looking for me now. All I have to wait to do is see if my boy can buy my car for sure now, he is 97% sure he is gonna buy it too.

Ok....I have talked with the owner of Beech Bend and also with the owner of the local shop. As of now, everything looks like a go. There is a very high probability that there will be an import meet on the 8th with free entry for those NOT racing and a small fee (~ $10) for those racing, so I think we should set the date for the 8th regardless. It will not be Test/Tune like it will be on Sunday, but will most likely be broken down into classes (Nat. Aspirated 4 cyl, N/A 6 cyl., Forced Induction/Nitrous 4 cyl., Forced Induction/Nitrous 6 cyl.). Those are just guesses.

For those of you who are set on running as many times as possible, the track will be OPEN on SUNDAY for sure no matter what happens on Sat. So, if you spend the night you are guaranteed a chance to run your car in a test/tune setup for $10 on Sunday.

I think that regardless of whether or not the local import meet happens, it will still be a great time, and the NICO meet will still continue. For only $15 you can stay the night and hang out with everyone and race the next day if for some reason we don't get a chance to on Sat.

IMPORTANT!! For those of you wanting to stay overnight WHICH SHOULD BE ALL OF YOU!!

Yeah I know, but if I even have it, it won't be for that long, and I have been known to be a little touchy about stuff like that. Clutches in that thing are expensive too!

Well....we've already hit a snag, but I still say we do it on the 8th.

Some jacka$$ from Beech Bend...not the guy I talked to, came by the shop and talked to Anthony about sponsoring the Tuesday night test/tune there for only $1500 which covers the ENTIRE season. He would be a fool to pass it up, and I don't think he's got the funds to do both the season and the one time meet on the 8th(which would cost over $1600).

I'll keep everyone up to date as I find out more. It looks like no racing on Saturday unless we decide to rent it out and split it. I know I would be willing to put up a larger amount ($100) myself, but I will need to collect enough money to rent the place out before someone else does. I CANNOT front $1600 and just hope enough people show up. If the general consensus is that we rent out the track, we can figure out payment later.

However, there will be racing on Sunday the 9th for $10. So, the question is do you want to contribute $10-$20 (depending on the # of people) and have the track to ourselves on the 8th, or just wait until Sunday and risk having a crowd for $10?

I thimk that we can get the $1600.I say we get a sign in going and start collecting $$$. Lets see if we get 80 people its about $20.If we do this then it would have to be a pay up front thing.

What happened to the import meet that was going on that day? I guess I missed something here. I can kick in some extra, but what we may want to do is collect ahead of time and get a commitment. Obviously we'll have to work out the details.
