if we rented the track would we have to pay for runs or could we run all day for free?

That would cover the entire day...as many passes as possible.

But...if it's cheap enough for the local shop to rent out, it will be rented. And, he can afford more than us, so unless the owner of Beech Bend gives a kick A$$ price and something happens to Anthony (shop owner), we won't be able to rent out the track.

So...if the import meet is on the 8th, I think the NICO meet should be on the 8th. If not, we'll have it the 15th.

We'll have more details Monday afternoon.

So is everyone's college break from 10 to 15th same as mine??? lol :pfaceHey Ben, I'm going to get that car problem of mine solved this coming week or weekend maybe...sooo I might take an early trip up there to know my way how to get to and from KY back home. Sooo...I might see about the 25th of this month (janurary) if you want to meet up or something, be nice to meet some people before march and all. So I get to know some in person instead of online lol My mom will be with me to make sure I take the right routes and stuff to see how well I will do.

Good question. I don't get spring break because..well i'm not in school anymore

I'll ask my GF about it, she usually knows all about UK's, UofL's and Bellarmine's. You IU guys will have to fill us in on that. Any Murray State peeps here?

I think UK's spring break is the third week, so the 15th would be the beginning of it. I believe Western's is the week before and would be starting on the 8th.

Actually, I change my vote! I just remembered that my senior prom is march 8th so there is no way I can miss that. I hope that we will change it cause I really want to go, also I could have made a video of it cause I got 80 free gigs on my HD and my new digital camera can make a video up to 8 mins.

Okay, here is an idea

is there any place we can have a autox track set up, like an abandoned "sp?" parking lot or airfield. I would rather race with turns in **** anyways.

if fred is not going to be able to make it on the 15, then we HAVE to have it on the 8, no discusion about it.

Okay I need to know 8th or 15th??? I have to take out money, find me a room figure up costs....I'm driving out town and I"m going to have to find me a place to stay at or a hotel room. I didnt get back what I wanted from my grant today so it shorted me out. I still have 2 more checks coming to me before March and I have other things to pay with it too. lol I also have to give my mom a sure date to start planning out what I need to get done prior months to this.

I never heard of prom in march. We always held ours in May.

See our school always has Prom after Mayday. We are the only school in putnam county (upperman highschool, baxter,tn) that does the MayDay tradition.

Ours was on a Friday but Prom always follows the next day after it. I went to prom by myself, and got a few of my guy friends (although they had dates we all were friends) so they gave me a dance. uhhh anyways...too bad you cant make it.

Brian, dude, come on. is this chik you are taking really worth missing this amazingly huge meet? please man, come. u kno you want to do this more than you wanna go to prom. the only reason you are goin to prom is cause it only happens once blah blah, thats great, but so does a meet like this. i, along with others, have a feeling that this is going to be a gigantic meet with many many many cars. come on dude.....

Oh that kinda sux you may miss the meet Brian, but you gotta go to your prom! I am certain that we will be having another big meet in summer and you can make it to that one! I have a feeling that we will be doing the 8th after all on this one.

Don't know if you're serious, but the meet is in Bowling Green, KY. Maybe I missed something and you're joking or maybe it's 2:30 in the morning and I've had too much to drink.

Here is how things are looking, the 8th and the 15th are both fine. My friend Danielle might be riding down with me in my car but she isn’t sure (she may be going to FL for spring break). So if anyone has any ideas about getting a group of NKY/Ohio people together to drive down let me know.

One of our local NICO members is currently arranging for us to rent it concureently with a local import performance shop.

We now think it will be much cheaper than the 20-30 we originally put out.

With unlimited runs for everyone.

So we <are> looking again at the 8th and it <does> look like it will be ok for the 8th for not too much more money, if any.And I counted spome of the <for sure>'s from BG No KY and Luoisville and we should be in the neighborrhodd of 40 cars.With that many even if we dont do it togetehr with the import tune shop here we would still be able to easily afford it (extra cost maybe $5-10)

We are tentatively back on for the 8th, with more details to be posted Monday nite.

i just realized, u might wanna put somethin in there about stayin in BG saturday night of the 8th. might entice them a little more, knowing they aren't going to be so busy that day. driving down here, racing, driving around town some prolly, and going back to l-ville in one day is alot of driving.

I Dunno, last I heard he said he didn't think he would be able to go. The suspension is fixed, but he is getting a color change. He has plans to start prep stuff at the end of Feb, but he doesnt think that it will be ready to take on a road trip by the 8th.

And the front bumper and the dent in my car will be fixed by then, it should be going in the shop sometime within the next few weeks, but those body guys can be s l o w...

you will have to fight it out with a guy on here named "diet coke". he is my bro's lil brother and I gotta look out for him. he will be hopefully bringing it down with me and my car if he buys it, which I think he is going to. keep your fingers crossed.

he is lucky though, I am gonna do all the labor I possible can for him when he buys it, I am his personal mechanic. I wish I had one, well I guess I have myself, : (, lol!
