What is the price of fuel where you live today?

At the 4 sons (Chevron station) - it was $3.97 for 87. :ohno:
At Fry's - it was $3.89 before discounts (which can be up to a dollar off, per gallon)

I thought it might be cool to have a separate thread for this so we could keep track of conditions across the nation, and the globe.

Andy, Mike, Neal: please chime in here as well.

The offset of costs has already begun here. Everything in the grocery stores has started to creep up gradually. I guess they are hoping we don't pay attention if they do it slowly, but we do. Especially when you only budget "X" amount of dollars for food each week.

$4.37 for regular at the station across the street last time I filled up the Titan. With the fuel light having just come on, it was $94.00. That's like $20 more per fill than I was paying before the jump.

I'm hoping this brings down the prices of trucks and SUVs. I could use a Cherokee.

$1.40 per Litre.

Which is equal to 1.41264 USD.

Which then makes it $5.3474241 USD / Gallon.

That's what you get for living in the most expensive city in North America :frown:

Probably to some extent. I may sell the Titan before summer. If the prices jump up for the summer, the price of Trucks and SUV's may plummet. I won't need a truck until I get another motorcycle which probably won't be until I graduate. I can always try and get the long bed crew cab that I would prefer at that point.

Sams Club here this morning has regular for $3.53 and the highest price is $3.67. I'm not complaining for sure. The Jeep runs about $75 to fill up and with our commutes, we usually only have to fill it up every two weeks. I love living here.

Love the Vol State and it's gas prices! Regular is about $3.55 +/- a gallon at Murphy/Wal-Mart and a little more from the name brands here in the Tri-Cities.

Good idea for a thread.

I filled up my truck saturday night paid $3.63/gallon (87) for 20 gallons.

I filled up our Rollback about 2 weeks ago paid $3.92/gallon (diesel) for 62 gallons. :squint:

Now the Z I have noticed lately that the price has been around jumping around ~$3.80 for 93 octane (no ethanol) so yea not sure where the price is going to be when I get to filll her up in a month from now. :ohno:

Also check out this site they have been mentioning it on the local radio stations: FYI The site is called louisianagasprices but it can help everyone.

Very interesting. Gas price heat map for the US

Also for the record when you are looking at Louisiana I live in the bottom LH corner in the second parish (county) from the bottom all the way to the left. "Calcasieu"

California sucks, those are insane prices. Its about $3.90 avg for regular here. I wanna say premium is about $4.2X.

This is why I got a Civic. Cost me $33 when I last filled up, but that was about 2 weeks ago. Still :mike:

That really makes me angry! This morning I paid $3.87 for 93. I believe 87 was around $3.65, and in town I would assume that it's a little closer to $3.70. I find it absurd that gas is cheaper in Lexington/Nicholasville. For some reason it seems the Somerset area has the most expensive gas around.

I was going to post that too. LOL @ California BFing people.
Its about tree fitty around here.

The miata has a FULL tank of questionable premium that I might tap into while she's down.

Gas is sucking hard here.

It jumped from 144 yen per litre at the end of February to about 165 yen per litre since this past Saturday. 21 yen in crease in two weeks.

This is the breakdown.

$1 is 82.2368 JPY
1 JPY is 0.0121600 USD

3.7 litres of gas at 165 yen per litre is 610.5 JPY.

So, at the current exchange rate, I am paying...
7.42369 USD per gallon for high octane in Saitama prefecture.

Here in scotland we are at the £1.40 mark and £6.30 for a gallon so that would = $2.19 for a litre and $9.85 for a gallon
