My SR has given me more headaces than any other vehicle I own. But I still love it, its an awsome engine!

Life is much easier with a beater civic to drive to work and school. At least I know it will start every time.

Still, I wouldnt have it any other way. Rock out with your redtop out.

I love my SR but i do wish i had a larger displacement engine for a better more powerful powerband. I run a T67 on my SR and it hits full @ 5krpm. It would be so much better using the same turbo and spooling full @ 4krpm. If i did it again, id go RB25 or VH45DE seems tempting too.

I've loved every SR car that I've owned, but I would not mind building a KA at some point.

I would also love to mess around with an S2000 at some point.

x2 on working on an S2K, too bad the parts for that car are pricey compared to KA or SR's.

Love the 25 to 30 mpg on regular highway, but don't enjoy having to change my underwear every time I test the 2871 with stage 2 cams etc.

OH yess...

I just took the Sr on its first long trip. Im getting over 30 still on the highway, but its much more difficult because im trying to stay out of boost and cruise around 75-80.

Once the turbo hits full boost, my car instantly turns from a 28 mpg commuter into a crazy little beast. I'd like less turbo lag and more lower end torque, but what do you expect from a small displacement turbo engine. For it's size, it's still an amazing engine.

I think it's the best "nissan" engine available. I haven't been impressed with the Rb's I've seen run. I am sure a OS giken RB30 would be nice if you had the money. IMO the 2JZ and the 4G63 are the cream of the crop but I've never seen one that could beat me that didn't have twice the money in it than I do.

I went ka-t but I wonder how things would've went if I went with a stock s14 sr20 swap. At th time, smog issues kept me from doing the full engine swap so I just went ahead with the turbo kit, which has been very reliable and getting me about 27 mpg on the hwy, not bad at all.

Everyone seems to like their sr though, getting good mileage and power, this is interesting

a tune, more boost and a t-28 (if you don't have one already) will give you an easy 50 hp at least.
