hey guys, the last few kickplates are being mailed out this week... thank you to everyone that followed through with their ordrs... all in all, there are a total of about 23 sets out there between the US and Canada... so if you got in on em, you have a close to one of a kind mod!

there were a couple of hickups in Ksong and DJ max's kicks, but for the most part, I believe most folks were happy.. if you weren't hit me up via email and we can discuss it further there.

For everyone else, please post pictures of your kickplates here, and please include Day and Night pics...

Hey Doc,

Question, how hard would it be to separate the plexi-glass and the EL tape?? I was thinking of putting Red Cellophane between the EL Tape and Vinyl, that way I can make the Red Deeper and when its all lit up at night?

sure could, as long as they have the initial $350-$400 to get the process started... but after buying the el-tape, finding a print shop and getting them to do the overlays correctly, total cost for them to fabricate 1 set of kickplates would be ~ $500, $570 if they have to buy the aluminum kickplates

I will post a boat load of them, but I am holding off because my wheels have left customs and should be on the car, I will post them up as soon as they come in.

damn Canadian customs has been holding onto mine since 10pm on Monday...there's no bomb in that package, let it through already!

I'll definitely post some pics once they're installed, I haven't seen anyone post really nice night pics yet, so hopefully I can get somebody with a nice DSLR to take some nice night shots for me.

Hey Rob, are you going to be in the area this weekend? I'm meeting Nate at Ontario Mills on Sunday at 10am so we can do the grounding kit install. I don't know if that is close enough for you so we can do my kickplates as well.

So Doc, if I end up with an 09 Coupe, you won't make me any?

How about if I sent $500.00 Canadian dollars your way along with the kickplates.

this is the thing... I will only make plates when i have enough orders to make it worth while...

it costs ~ $200 to get the plexiglass and have it cut... say I make $50 profit off of each set I sell, only after selling 5 kickplates have I made back my initial investment in the plexiglass and actually started to make a profit... the only alternative is to charge more, which i have been hesitant to do with my NICO family. That's why I usually want a minimum of 10 orders to make it worth my time.. its the only way it makes sense finanically, otherwise, I lose out on the deal... as I mentioned before, it is NOT a cheap process to make these kickplates!

Also, if is financially possible, I say get the G37 anyway! then you can get the OEM illuminated door sills!

Just got mine in today. They look great. Went a little glue crazy but nothing that can't be easily cleaned up. Things have been rediculously busy as of late so I'll probably install them the first weekend of August.

Thanks Doc!

if you mean the stuff on the bottom, don't remove that... it's all there for a reason! and its not glue, it's silicone

Is that to keep it water proof? I was wondering how they'd hold up in the rain.

Also, I was wondering for those that installed it if you HAVE to take the door off or is it possible to do it without taking it off? I have small hands so I was wondering if I'd be able to do a little maneuvering...
