I see some real mixed reviews for this game, and forza 3 and Need for Speed rated higher in many circles...not a good look for a game that took 6 years to develop.

Doesn't look good when a sports game (NHL 2011) that took just about a year to make, gets a 9.0 and GT5 gets an 8.5 on IGN.

Just saying. Don't get your panties in a bunch and start calling me a "forza" or "nfs" fan boy, when I am just stating facts. I was actually going to ditch my 360 and get PS3 just for GT5 and a baseball called MLB:the show, but now...yeah I'll wait until I have some money to burn.

Unfortunately they won't. WOW is their money maker. I am actually surprised that they even bothered continuing on SC2 and D3 after the success of WOW.

Caught the X1 trailer off PSN just a minute ago. I would have liked to see more of the game designers telling Adrian Newey how to do his job, followed by a dumptruck filled with with all of his F1 accolades, dumping it's payload on them. I did have a pretty big chuckle at Vettel having to use the crappy Driving Force GT instead of a G27 too.

From what I understand only the premium cars have damage and cockpit views because they were too lazy to model all car interiors. Fuking ghey!

What are these premium cars? Do you have to pay money or something for them?

Nope, they are just higher quality cars, the models are better looking, better damage modeling, windshield wipers work, and you can sit inside the car.

Yeah, its a bit difficult, especially because of the cambering of the road, I'm sure with a high powered and well setup car you can do it.
I flipped my car right now on the dirt mound on Trial Mountains last corner, I paused the replay to take a look under the S13, and it's accurate! It even has the underbay cover that I've never seen in real life.

I really wanna get this game, but after hearing the feedback on the game...
-no brake upgrades.
-small number of premium cars vs standard cars.
-really need a G27 and a nicer tv than what I have to fully enjoy.

...I just may wait until I see what the future patches and DLC do for the game and pick it up after the price goes down.

The creator already said that he'll be releasing patches to improving the driving experience, so expect many more patches to come.
