I bought these H4 housing on eBay, they are called Diamond something something. They are CRAP, literally crap, but that's the only kind I can find on eBay. I later found out that Hella make the H4 housing for S13, I highly recommend those instead of these cheap knock off. The reflective coating scratch off easily, the so called high quality glass isn't smooth when inspected closely.

Get the HID bulbs installed, notice the blue rice bulb on the bottom, I am going to leave those alone.

It's a CATZ HID kit, comes with reflector shield. Make sure you HID kit have reflector shields unless you want to blind people left and right.

Park the car. Hit the flip light switch.

There are 4 screws on both side of the black plastic thingy.

Then you want to pull down alittle bit, notice there are 3 clips on top, try not to break them. Then you want to slip it out, you might get stuck with the rubber weather proof **** on the bumper. Don't be tempted to yank it out.

There are 4 more screws holding the lamp in place. Remove them and the metal bracket should come off.

That's the driver side, next to the stock resonator, there is a little hole, good for inserting HID harness, there is another hole on the passender side too, by the battery.

Driver side again, I already inserted the HID harness.

That's where I left one of my ballast, yep, stuck between the air box and the resonator.

The other ballast, next to the battery.

Make sure you use zip tie to hold the harness in place because you don't want it to get stuck with you flip the lights down.

I would recommend you to flip on and off a few times make sure nothing is stuck.

Bling! More on night pics later.

See what I mean? sheer crap, the light does not focus properly due to poor H4 housing. I will upgrade to a better one later.

that's why you retro-fit projectors in your current housing..

I have the sylvania superstars and Im very happy with then, they look a little dimmer than the yellowish stock ones but is just takes a while to get used to the "whiteness" on them.

Those Ebay ones (hate to tell you) dont even look safe for night driving....be careful bro....

PS. Loveless...(note to myself...): Wash engine compartment.....:pface :thinker

wash engine bay huh? oh it's been washed when the swap is performed :)

dangerous is it? you bet, it's way too bright and way too unfocused, I know some people get mad at me for it but I can't find the housing I Was looking at last time I did the research.

the blue bulb is probably rice bulbs, I was looking at it and the only thing I could think of is that it's used to tint the light output with blue blubs to make it look cool. I never touched it so I don't know what it'll be like.

the blue bulb is called "city lights"

basically when all the lights are turned off... and you light those puppies up it gives your headlight that blue/blacklight look...

it's gay. Btw if you are going to do the conversion, make sure you get GOOD headlight housings, you can get bosch from here: http://www.pdm-racing.com/prod....html

get it done and you probably don't have to step on the brake to 20mph on the freeway so the ****er behind you won't dare to tailgate you w/ high beam again

Will the Bosch be good enough? It's not made for "real" HID I believe. But let me know if they are good, I'll try em too.

I've also done the H4 HID (McCulloch was mine) w/ about 5 different housings (4 ebay, and 1 "projector one" - for reg bulbs tho and was "patent pending" etc). All of them looked like crap for glare.

Currently trying to fit some ECE projectors into the casing, it's hard!
