I have run foglights(PIAA 1700X) I wasn't a fan of the way fog lights looked on the car, it was also a pain to try and match the color of the foglights to that of the headlights(using PIAA products). Plus its really about glare... if you look directly into and LED its very bright but from any direction other than head-on they dont bother most people. Plus nothing seems to irritate me more than a 4wd truck with factory headlights as far as glare goes. The ones with upgraded bulbs are even worse. BTW loveless what kit are you running in the pic in front of the bushes they didnt seem to be the blue tint that was in the garage.
I believe that we agreed that if you run bosch or hella headlamps as opposed to ebay headlamps, the glare would be significantly less (still not perfect, but ok). I'll actually be trying this out in a couple weeks or so before I decide whether or not I want to spend the time and money into retrofit. I'm sure the info was buried somewhere around here, haha.

Actually, the bulbs are in the correct position. The majority of the light should be hitting the top portion of the housing. The bottom of the housing will reflect upwards. If you check out all the hid shield kits, they block the bottom of the light (i.e. mcculloch's new generation kit & aftermarket hid kit shields) - They typically have 2 slots at the bottom of the shield to allow some light to be used to light up road signs.

Also, most fo the reflection in that picture you used was probably from the angle, lighting, sun, flash, or whatever.
