I know there are some chips out there for this engine in our cars (same engine as the 350z/370z). Did anybody here go through with such an upgrade for their baby infiniti wagons?
I had an Uprev for 3 years and I didn’t like it at all since it was very inconsistent with the power delivery. One day the power is noticeable the next day it’s weak. I sold my Uprev and went for ECUTEK.
I installed the Ecutek in my Q40 and not in the EX35, but ECUTEK can be used for the EX.
Sebastian fron SpecialtZ in Los Angeles burb can help you out. He can do a remote tune or Etune for the EX35/37 etc.
Sebatian is the best in the Nissan/Infiniti forum. Ask for the throttle hijack tune also.

How do you like the ECUTEK upgrade? What differences did the tune make? Thank you

The gas pedal is more responsive and if you use the manual mode, the tranny responds quicker when you shift. If you want extremely responsive gas pedal, ask to include the throttle hijack mode for the ECUTEK.
The most important part of tuning is the Air/fuel ration is optimised. If you floor the gas pedal, it will dial in towards a richer fuel delivery to minimised engine detonation or wear. That also gives you optimized fuel burning...
