I wonder if guys in Japan do Onevia conversions just to be USDM ?

I asked my friend from Hong Kong if people did LHD conversions on their cars, like us americans do RHD ones and he said "people would be like, why the hell would you make your car a left hand driver?"

yea, that may be about it, but when it comes down to it, there are many more 'ricers' in the u.s htan japan, most people here are obsessed with front end conversions, headlight conversions, bodykits and such, in japan (for hte most part anyway) they seem to be more focused on speed and drifting than the way their cars look, besides, they get better stuff from the factory anyway (imo atleast)

Some of the worst rice Ive ever seen has come straight from Japan. I know that the US is real bad, but I think that Japan might be worse. From what WE see theyre concentrated on speed and such, but I think all the rice just doesnt reach us.

there is this s13 silvia that has been in many of my option mags that has a yellow and orange leopard paint job. it has chrome bling bling wheels on the front and it is also on bags or hydolics or whatever you call them. this looks like the biggest piece of rice i have seen but then you see the engine shot and here is a RB26DETT in there. the point i am trying to make is taht the "rice" cars in japan usually have a hell of a lot of power and suspension work to back it up. yea, its made to be a showcar, the car probably never goes any faster than 2omph, but its got htre RB just for show

Japanese guys are ricey too, GT wings and neon run rampant. My attitude comes from a musclecar background, I like power. If it does not directly contribute to the performance of the car I don't do it. Would I buy a huge GT wing? yes there will be one on my FC at some point but that is because I intend to see 320kph in it on the expressway. My current max is 250kph in my last Skyline. Guys can doll their cars up if they want, to each his(or her) own*polishes fingernails*:pface

I had my old Supra up to 115 before the windsheild wiper flew off. I'm sure it could have gone faster, it was still accelerating strong but I couldn't see without a wiper. The guy at the Pep Boys laughed when i explained why I needed one wiper:pface

lol...well we ran the quater and just kept it held a little bit longer to see what kind of MPH we would pull...we were in my bro-in-laws 98 Steeda Cobra (a real deal Steeda...not the wannabe's with all the stickers and crap!) Nothing like a SC 32 Valve 351...doing 110 in the 1/4 mile...
