you can quit with the straw men arguments any time now Dusred.

you act as if we who dont wear flag pins, salute the flag, cry during the national anthem, by extension, helped fly airliners into down town manhattan. get off your high horse.

also, if you think that those soliders died for something as insignificant as a piece of cloth that is usually made in china, then you really dont understand what sacrifice means.

UpStar, after reading that drivel, I wouldn't be calling anyone an "airhead".

I've seen drunk stroke survivors write more comprehensibly. ;)

....and I could give a fcuk less what you think. Maybe you could comprehend a set of big tea bags on that bald head :lolling:

Don't get cranky - I'm just consistently amazed that someone actually pays you a salary sufficient to buy such nice cars when you have a difficult time spelling and communicating at an adult level. :poke:

p.s. Not bald.... yet.

My hair falls out when I read my law books. :(

Doesn't look any thinner, but I really wish it'd be those scattered bright white ones that fell out.

I've been avoiding this thread, partly because I went home sick yesterday, and partly because I'm not that interested in Michelle Obama or Sarah Palin as individuals, or for the comments that they made. Michelle Obama's got literally no power (and minimal influence) and Sarah Palin is quickly fading into the background... fortunately, this blunder had nothing to do with policy.

That said, I have to agree with Helio. There have been times where I haven't placed my hand over my heart for the national anthem. Heck, I've gone through half the song before realizing that I had my hat on. It's not a big deal; it only becomes a big deal when it's someone you don't like, and you're looking for reasons to bash them.

And the lapel pin uproar has made me sick to my stomach since the very beginning. Really, guys? A little plastic pin? Whatever did American President(ial candidate)s do to demonstrate their devotion to their country before we invented them? Y'know, besides opening themselves up to public scrutiny of every aspect of their life to put a 4-8 year execution date on their political (or otherwise) career?

Again... I could give a fcuk less what you think! Here's an idea for ya, focus on the original topic posted by the OP instead of making girly comments that pertain to nothing. It makes you look desperate for attention, and I think I've already virtually slapped you across that head of your for that already, but here's another slap for ya:slap: SPELL CHECK THAT!!! :poke:

Back on topic:
Palin has taken another step out of bounds. She called out the repubs and made it clear that they should get onboard with the tea baggers :wtf2:

When will Palin learn to.........

I let it go once, but I can't overlook it twice. Since this thread has strayed a bit, I will point this out as it is one of my largest pet peeves.

This makes no sense. I could care less that there are people out there killing children. I could care a whole lot less, because I do, in fact, care a great deal about this. I believe what you meant to say is "I COULDN'T give a fcuk less what you think". You see, that would make sense here. It implies that you care so little that you couldn't possibly care any less. The more you know...

You must be fresh out of fcuks by now. :gotme

If you don't like what I post, then don't respond to me, Tantrum-Boy.

BTW, I'll let you know when you "slap me across the head" with one of your posts. It hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure you'll have your hand down the front of your Depends tonight, dreaming of how cool it would be. :rotfl

How is that "out of bounds"?

Maybe "out of bounds" for someone who believes that our speech should be censured, but what's wrong with someone speaking their mind?

And, specifically, what's wrong with what she said? Since you always have such a hardon for Ms. Palin, let's hear your brilliant critique of her statement.

No chickening out, either. We're "ON TOPIC", Pops. You have the spotlight - Amaze me.

Let me help - I don't want you to injure yourself: Yes, the GOP does need to seriously consider the groundswell in the country towards those candidates who support smaller government, increased accountability, and are pro-business, pro-civil liberties and oppose mislabeled, so-called "progressive" policies.

Maybe YOU should learn a little more about where we're headed, rather than ignorantly repeating demeaning little names ("tea baggers") that you heard from some snot-nosed lefty pseudo-journalist, and taking empty pot-shots at something without backing it up.

The only thing more pathetic than someone who doesn't know what they stand for is someone who opposes things but can't explain why.
