Sil-eightys are NOT a different chassis code. A combination of 180-sx with any Silvia is NOT a Sil-80. Nissan made the Sil-80 as a limited production car, and just used fixed headlights. Seach ALL over the internet, and you won't find a s13.5 called a sil-80.

Read!The combination Sil-80 means Silvia-180sx. Meanin the front of a Silvia s13, and the body and engine of a 180sx.

wtf are you talking about? who said it was a special chassis code? its an aftermarket body mod, nothing more. it was NEVER made by nissan, EVER. not a single 180sx left a nissan factory with silvia lights.

Yes it is. It left the production line in Japan for a limited amount of Sil-80's to be produced.

Arrrghh!!.....too....much....educational....things. man this is confusin. even though nissan may have produced them at one time or another, i will still make the simple mistake from time to time of callin the s15 front end on a 180 a sil-80. Freakin force of habit for the fact that i know that the s15 is a silvia and its on a 180 body. oh well.

OMG you guys are killing me, Quit being so anal, dudes right 180sx rear and any Silvia front end is a Sil80. Yes most Sil80's are 180sx with s13 front clip but the name, Sil(via)(1)80 can mean any of the silvia clips. Get over it!!!! I know you like to have all the details , but it really doesn't matter. It's still bad a$$ and that's all that matters!!

sileighty's exist my friend...1500 were made not 500 u are mis-informed......and nissan did manufacture them on a limited basis for 1 year only.....it was sort of a promotional type thing b/c of the origonal popularity of the 180sx and the silvia s13 in japan....the chassis code was RPS13-?? not sure after the ?? i have to check my History of nissan book and see what it says i will try and post it later...u should pick the book and up and straighten your facts out not to sound like an @$$ or anything

I believe the factory made sil-80's had around 230-240 hp. And real sil-80's are like commodities over there. If you were lucky enough to find one at a auction over there they usually go for the same price as a new r-34. "may the great r34 rip"

I believe the Sil-80s kept the same 205hp as the other S13s.
