just curious as to what people will ACTUALLY be adding to their A/C this year... no "I'm hoping for" or "I plan to get"... what are you really getting for her?

I haven't decided on a brand yet. Not exactly sure what's a good one. But my guy that hooked me up with my stereo system is a good friend for over 10 yrs. And he said he'll get me a really good one that works up to like a mile i think. For $150, that would be valued at over $400 at the actual store.

$150??? You might as well keep the stock one. If its not retailing for more than $600, its not worth it.

$150-200 is what I'm gonna be paying. I wont be paying anything close to retail. He already told me if I'm not getting something expensive, then to not get it at all because it's not worth it. My guy has a major hook up on the good ****. Like I only paid a grand for my whole stereo system. (2 treo 10 inch subs, 2 interfire amps, custom box, and a massive eq)

Let us know what it is when you get it. I hope its not some cheesy off brand, but for $150 bucks, I'd be willing to bet it is. Robert's sponsored by that audio shop he was talking about, and I know it cost him 4 times that much for a good autopager system.

$150... yeahhhhhhhh, my guys can't beat that... not for a name brand 2 way pager alarm with 1 mile range.... actually, I don't know of a name brand 2 way pager with 1 mile range that you can get for $150 with an install!! THAT'S THE SUPER HOMIE HOOKUP!!

its the install labor that usually kills you... you can get one of these top notch alarms with 2 way paging, 1 mile range, and remote start for about $250, but the Yeah, I'm sponsored by the shop, but it still cost me over $700 to get that alarm installed, with remote start, and the can-sl2 module so that I didn't have to give up my key fob...

granted, you won't be doing the remote start, but the labor would still be the same... let me know what you end up with! there's a uy on here that got a great deal on an el cheapo 2 way pager alarm, and within a couple weeks, his remote stoipped working... i.e. telling him he's out of range when he's right next to the car...

Stillen RSB arriving on the 8th, Bat's color match mustache, K&N intake whenever they call me, and need to get my Stillen kit painted. Anyone, perhaps Rob, recommend a paint shop here in SD?

no, all the quality shops cost an arm and a leg!!! I would say syndicate, but you don't even wanna know how much they charge... I know a guy that paid $600 to get his roof black.... I got my roof black from Andy (bluebatmobile) and IMO, it looks just as sexy!

Hey phobs,

Didn't you come to the meet Robert and I put together on the 13th? The guy who owned that R34 Skyline owns a paint shop near Speed Force Racing. You could call Tim on Monday and find out where the guy is.
