I don't remember everything the kit comes with off the top of my head right now, but as far as fuel delivery goes. 440cc injectors with a Split Second Timing fully programmable piggy back fuel controller.

Dealer price on those is $200, the can sl2 runs another $80.... @ $400, he did your entire install for $120? THat's a 4-5 hour install, that's less than $30/hr...... either that shop doesn't know how to price labor, or you got the hookup.... labor alone for this install usually runs ~ 400
Well $400 was the price of the install. I took it it to a place in Lodi, New Jersey, called Action Tire that all the NY Giants go to and it took them 2 days, just because they were real busy and short staffed. The price for the the alarm was 187 shipped off ebay and the can sl2 was 60 on amazon. So in total I paid about 650 for everything.

yeah, that sounds more like it.... that's not exactly $400 total! but $400 for labor sounds pretty typical.

However, you've shot yoursel;f in the foot! These alarms can and do go bad... when they do, you won't have the shops warranty since you bought it off ebay from a non authorized dealer. I'm on my third remote... just went in, swapped it, and walked out... you won't be so lucky! Hence why I tell folks to just get everything from the shoip that installs it, instead of trying to save $100... you'll see what I mean if/when the remote goes bad!

Ah, Robert. I'm actually covered . I bought the Square Trade 3year Warranty when I bought it from ebay, so if anything should happen or go wrong they'll send me whatever.

The square trade warranty is a great idea, and I only buy from ebay users that offer it!

Your only dilemmna will be the few days or so it takes for you to receive your replacement remote, and the fact that you won't have the 2 way pager feature that you bought the alarm for suring those days (AS you know, the XT-90S slide remote that comes with it doen't have a 2 way pager feature! BUt good job on getting the square trade warranty! if you look at the prices of the replacement remote, they go for about the same price that you got the entire alrm for!!! $170-$190 so the fact that you won't have to go through that is a GOOD thing

Yeah, I'm glad I did get it and it will suck waiting for the replacement to come not having that paging feature. I was just looking around to seee how much replacements are and they are around the price of the alaram system itself, its crazy. All in all a great investment thay i'm loving so far, espeacially here in NY where its cold right now.

im a sedan guy, but i plan on doing alot of suspension work this summer.

1. STILLEN or RACINGLINE FSTB

2. Progress RSB from 02-06 Altimas. its 22mm, up about 3 from the Stillen Bar.

3. D2 Coilovers

4. Ill try to find suspension bushings to firm up the ride.

5. Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Season Tires

if things work out well enough, ill try to get

1. HLSD from the 07+ SE-R Sentra

2. new clutch most likely from JWT

3. RACINGLINE Short Throw Shift Kit

4. Heavier Shift Knob

5. BullyDog Tuning device

these will all work great with the mods that i currently have. and for those of you that dont know, i dont have many mods, but here they are.

-Fujita WAI-Custom Cat-less Cat-back Exhaust-Racingline Front Endlinks-Racingline Rear Endlinks-08 Coupe 17in Wheels-Rotora X-Drilled/Slotted Front Rotors-Hawk HP Plus Front Pads-Hawk HPS Rear Pads-other minor cosmetic mods.

When I get all of these mods done, i will be personally looking for a mid-low 13's car, and possibly even a high 12's if i get good enough weather. but then again, im not sure about the second set of mods, right now im just strictly concentrating on the suspension!

Also, AP BBK, bluebat overlays, hopefully coil overs, short throw shift kit, and if i'm lucky 10's in the 1/4mile before july. I have a serious speed fetish is all i can say!
not trying to shoot your dreams down, but i dont believe you will be hitting 10's with your car, with out other supporting mods.

what will you be doing for fuel delivery. upping the boost will not help you make all the power you will need for 10's, you also need to get the fuel there to make the power.

what turbo are you gonna be spinning at 20+ PSI on pump gas? i hope its not that same medium sized turbo you are running now.

you better build your heads as well, a 10 second car needs alot of flow up top to get it through a 10 second trap time, and it needs attention as well even though our heads flow well from the factory.

also, what will you be doing about traction? what wheels and tires setup are you going to use? a LSD will be required for you to put down the power. you will also need the right suspension setup to get traction as well, but you did list that you will be getting coilovers, so thats good.

im not trying to shoot down your dreams of that 10 second altima, but ive been doing alot of research myself, and i know what it will take for you to get that car there, and i intend on doing it myself.

you also need to plan on spending alot of money on this project because it wont come cheap. with all that i listed, and more, you estimated cost will be at least a beginning price of $10k.

good luck bro. i hope you take what i said as advice, and not as if im coming off as an ***hole.

My plan for this year was exhaust, rims/tires, eibach drop, and stillen rear sway bar. I already got the exhaust and will probably be buying the rims this weekend.
