Do we have a time set for teching on Friday yet?

And do you guys have a schedule for the weekend as to when autox/drifters will run?

I'll most likely be there, but currently watching the weather to see if it will hopefully clear up for this weekend.

You should plan to come. Even if there's a shower, there's a huge NICOfest tent there to stay dry. Saturday weather is looking good, Sunday might shower at times, but neither day is looking like a washout.

Yes, Friday tech will be like last year. At the PArk Inn between 3-6pm (approx)

The tentative schedule for autocross/drift is as follows:

Saturday
9-1 autocross (may begin earlier).
1-3 drifting (following Vaughn Gitten Jr. drift demo)
3-5 Autocross (might extend a little longer if we can keep it staffed)

Sunday
8-12 autocross
12-2 drifting
2-4 autocross

$25 cash for the pits

Entry to the fairgrounds is the same price at the gate as it is online. You'll just have to wait in line.

I'm not running the show so take this with a grain of salt, till a mod posts, but from years past this info is not needed and insurance/reg is on you.

Ok I have made the payment through Paypal. Paid to HDS Holdings, Inc
6028288908
My name on my pay pal is correct.

My question is once I arrive is there specific area where the members from here will park. I will not be racing or showing off because I dont have any goodies worth seeing...lol I would like to parked up with everyone.

Is there anything else I need to do besides showing up and should I ask or look for someone in specific?

The Nicofest tent, paddock and track are all located at the north end of the fairgrounds. After you pay and drive thru the gate, drive straight past the buildings then make a left. there should be NICO signs with arrows posted. The paddock is fenced in. We're pretty easy to spot at the bottom of the hill. There's tons of parking both in and out of the paddock. Remember you are free to come/go and check out everything at the P&S show. It's huge. For example, I believe the Bikini contest is not until 8pm at the grandstand.

Just a reminder to anyone unsure if they are registered or not:

If you click on the "Verify Registration" button in the first post of this thread, you will see a list of all paid registrations. If you are not on the list, we don't have your payment.

We will continue to take online registrations through Friday evening, but after that you will have to register at the tech inspection tent. Registration at the tent is $25 per person.

If you believe you have paid but you don't see your name on the list, please email us at [email protected] ASAP.

See you guys this weekend!

Registered.

Its 13 hours from here to there. If I sleep now and wake up at 5pm, I should make it to Carlisle by 5am/6amEST.

That gives me enough time to sleep and wake up in time for evening shenanigans.

Just show up at the Park Inn. As long as you don't mind floor space, I'm sure somebody will let you in. I would offer our room, but I think we may be pretty crowded already. But if you can find a place to lay your head down, you're more than welcome.

I call a bed though, and I'm not sharing.

We start teching around 3pm or so at the Park Inn parking lot, that'd be a good time to wake up with a rested liver.

So psyched, see you all tomorrow.

Can we get name tags this year so we can put people's screen names with a face?

I was thinking I'd just write IBC in sharpie on my forehead. Not sure if I should do it before or after my final exam tomorrow morning.

Either way you need to show up at the registration area tomorrow, you will have to pay,or they will have already charged you.
No biggie....

Regardless of how you get onto the carlisle fairgrounds, the pmt you made to NICO is how you get into the gated area.

May not Auto-X. Funky noises from suspension this morning. Might just be a loose nut at the top of the coilover - as it progressed, it sounded less grindy and more springy, so I think it's just a symptom of me not having a torque wrench.

Hello Frederick Palmer,

You sent a payment of $10.00 USD to HDS Holdings, Inc
------------------------------------------------------------

But discovered a crack in my right front rotor so dont know if i will actually run. :frown:
But the less I run the more I can help manning the track right? :yesnod

I carefully kept all my old Nico shirts over the years and prevented the wife from throwing them awa,y so I can be respectful and wear those wear those instead of my other forum shirts.

Looking forward to seeing everyone

Fred... :yesnod
