Some day I will figure out a way to make this up to you, I promise.kenno470 wrote:Crazy how your logo is ridiculously similar to my ACTUAL family crest.
I'll ship out the upper timing cover tomorrow.
I also have no idea. I didnt even notice them. Must have shown up when I converted the file from .svg to .png. Maybe something goofy with inkscape. Thanks for all your help sir.BusyBadger wrote:I wonder why those lines are showing up in the scroll of the one you posted Ian.
Here's a .png that I made to throw in my ImageShack locker.
In any case, I'm glad you like it. I was feeling really stumped about where to go with the design until it suddenly came to me.
I contacted them directly, and they gave me an updated part number. I plugged it in all over and got nothing. I tried Jegs.com, and it pulled up a listing and let me order. The specs listed on Jegs are correct, so we shall see.kenno470 wrote:that sucks. What other sources have you tried?
Total seal can probably get you going. I think I have a contact over there....
Kenno said he had me covered. Looks like all I need to find now is a cam and a valve cover.DeXteR wrote:So you have an upper timing cover coming? If not, I may have one... Let me know.
One of the 248 duration ones. IIRC its an S14 Exhaust cam (Im Hotswapping). I think I have that covered as well.DeXteR wrote:I think my buddy Piper is your facebook friend now. He said he had a valve cover.
What cam do you need?

Yes your are. To make it up to us, you should pay the entry fee for Magnum Opus, and come co-drive......DeXteR wrote:I'm a terrible friend - I know this.
Get it running and we'll see.FlatBlackIan wrote:Yes your are. To make it up to us, you should pay the entry fee for Magnum Opus, and come co-drive......DeXteR wrote:I'm a terrible friend - I know this.
You can get vacuum caps from any parts store, but they're usually crap. They harden up and crack. I've never had good luck with them. Why don't you pinch the end and weld them shut? You can put a boost leak tester on the throttle body and check for leaks.FlatBlackIan wrote: Since I gutted everything except the injectors off the intake. I am left with a bunch of open useless vacuum ports. Im thinking about how to cleanly cap them all off. I am wondering if anyone would know where to get vacuum caps or something of the like. I really dont want 13 hoses with bolts shoved in them lol. Anyone have any bright ideas?
