I have these wheels ^^^, ill post pics with them today for you. These are great wheels, people always think their a 3pc wheel. I have junction produce wheel caps on them though to go with my theme. Tell ya the truth, these are better then Vossens. Like you said their cheaper and I a have friend who owns a rim shop and the Vossen lip have been falling apart on people as they have been driving. He has since stop selling the company until they fix the problem.06M4.5 wrote:what do you think of this 1pc wheel:

rear wheel 20x10" et40 with a 5" stainless steel lip
looks almost like a Vossen copy but at about $900 less.
also front wheel has a 2.5" lip
Those remind me of El Perron's rims. Nice choicePhantom Infiniti wrote:Wow sick pics!!
Any opinions on these? http://www.elementwheels.com/proddetail ... mrrhr4208b
Im leaning more towards 8 or 10 spoke.

I would check the et on the rear wheels to to make sure what you have.
rear tire should be a 285/30 to match 245/35 side wall.
enjoy your new shoes
21x9.5 according to Finishlinewheels.commexillis wrote:depends on tire brand, i just got 255/35/20 for my rims and they are skinnier than my 245's. If i would have known that I woulda put 265 or even 275 all the way around. How wide is the 21" FX?

06M4.5 wrote:what I was trying to say is to look behind the wheel and see if the offset or ET is stamped on. you might think you have a 45et but it is possible that you might have a 42 or even a 38et. I have seen this happen before.
it's better to check now instead of a few months later, it's also good to know what you have from the get-go.
my understanding is that 48et is for a wheel that is 10.5" wide
and 42et is for a wheel that is 10" wide
so when I look at your pic and I see the wheel stick out past the lip it doen't look like a 45et, it looks to have a lower et.
those that are not going the vip way (like me) shouldn't have wheels sticking out of the fenders. the key is to have the tire as close to the fender lip, without passing the lip. this also has to do with the size of the tire. I'll be running a 285/30 at the rear which is a match for the 245/35 at the front.
one of the first test I do when I buy new wheels & tires is to have 4 or 5 people in the car and go for a short ride to see if they rub. it's one of the reasons I always by local.
So that was that sound??? Nah, j/k... I havent dropped it yet, I just ordered the springs a couple of days ago... and as far as the mudguards, I thought every M had those things, like I didnt know that was extra stuff until you pointed it out. I started looking at some other M's and lo and behold, most didnt have these on... what package do they come on? The Premium "keep-my-car-mud-free" package?? Or is it just an option? Does anybody know...gibz4 wrote:
I see you have mud guards on, do they bottom out or rub on speed bumps after you dropped the car?
