I will be playing the bulk of my MW2 on Xbox but my PS3 buds bought me MW2 on PS3 so I can play with them so I will be probably doing a 20%-80% thing. But as for now, it is a race to level up on Xbox so it will look like 100% till level 70. I am 10 levels away.

Loving the SCAR-H with Red Dot sight, that and the M4 w/ Red Dot are my favorite weapons right now. Not feeling the sniper rifles in this game, I miss the M40 and the R700. I can absolutely wreck fools with the R700 in COD4, the Barrett is over rated, it doesn't pack the same punch in this game that it does in real life, slap a thermal on it and you can pretty much guarantee 1 shot deaths no matter where they are hiding. The .50 will plow through cinder block like they are sugar cubes and 1 1/4" plate steel like it's butter, but they seriously weakened it.

Anyone else notice how hard it was to to get to level 5 and then every rank after that is cake? I'm ranking up so fast I can't keep up with all the new isht I open up. Saturday I was a level and with only 2 or 3 hours I completed a ton of challenges and about to rank up to a level 19.

Every rank flew for me but I started REALLY slowing down when I got to 40 or so. Now It takes me 6+ hours of MP to rank

Yeah same here. My first like 30 ranks went by super fast.Partly cuz the XP needed isnt that high and also because all the early gun challenges stack up so quickly.10 - 25 i can do in one match. If i change guns i can get 3 challenges done in one game.I can get a gun up to silencer in 2.5 games

But now with all my favorite guns leveled, ive really started to slowdown, and i really want to unlock the ACR its so close i can taste it.

Dont worry about it, as long as you were having fun thats all that really matters.Plus we only lost like one match, the rest we won....so im happy cuz that helps my W/L ratio.

I dont think the SCAR needs the Red dot, it has an amazing Iron Sight, probably the best in the game. Its like a little needle and the top of the needle is where the bullet will go.For me its even better than the red dot, and definitely better than the holo.M4 red dot is good though....does no one else love the ACR, i think im the only one who worships that gun.

What'd I say before? Oh, yeah, I said the resourceful PC community would find a workaround for the lack of dedi servers. Yeah, what do you know?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...edded

The best part? They're STILL RANKED BY IWNET. The reason that is good is that IW's stubborn assness is biting them in the stubborn a**. If they'd just enabled dedi servers, this wouldn't be an issue. But now the IWnet rankings are going to get all f***ed up because people had to find different ways to do things because IW was determined to make things difficult.

Hey, Infiniti Ward? Do you like apples?

Yea every now and then right before entering a game my load up screen would freeze up. And after about 2 mins I would find myself back in the game's lobby waiting for the next map...

I do have a hard time finding games when I am with a bunch of friends. I guess it is tougher to find games that can fit us all but still it gets annoying.

Other then that, my Xbox and PS3 MP experience has been on point.

You don't HAVE to cheat. It's just a nice way to demonstrate the fact that they have a dedi server up, since that's not possible on an official server.

Grr...I'm tired of getting stuck on on s***ty teams.

Seriously...like, I'm tired of going 31-12, and then the rest of my team going 3-17. I'M TIRED OF THE SUCK!

In other news, I hate Underpass and Afghan with a passion.

In fact, I hate a majority of the MW2 maps. Holy hell this game is a campers dream...so many friggin barrels and crap everywhere...I'm tired of just trying to run somewhere only to find some douchebag sitting behind a crate for the past 10 min killme with his Vector and then getting the AC-130 because of his camping. Seriously WTF. There needs to be more open areas so dumbasses can't camp.

No "you need to be better" comments...I'm just sick of the camping.

Camping ruins everything. Just another reason you need direct host input and the ability to kick people immediately from matches. Players can detect campers more accurately than any software could.

A lot of games these days are incentivising against camping. They offer REASONS not to camp. Offer some bonus or reward that requires you to move around and participate in the battle rather than hiding in a corner playing on your own.

I knew it was only a matter of time before the community would mod the game to get dedis back. This is all thanks to unlocking the console. The PC community also unlocked 3 game types that were hidden within the game as well. Global Thermonuclear War, VIP, and One Flag CTF.

However, I see IW utilizing VAC to ban the guys running the cracked console-enabled PC versions. They will probably release a patch soon that will completely remove the console and the ability to run a dedi.

And RCA, you really need to get over the whole "PC cheating is rampant" mentality. Cheating wasn't that wide spread and prevalent on dedis in MW1. In fact, it took a nasty jump in MW2 due to the nature of IWNet. The only places that cheating was able to be utilized rampantly in MW1 were on unranked servers. Anything that had ran the official software had punkbuster and admin staffs to take care of cheaters.

I will admit though, that these aren't the same type of dedis as we're accustomed to. True dedis don't need vid cards to run the game as the client side is the only part that actually renders. However with this setup requires the server to be a standard computer that has to render as well.

MoD are these games labeled so people don't go into them with out knowing what your getting into? And if you can cheat in one game then how do you know that people aren't cheating in others?

Yea I am all for bigger maps...

But holy hell there are so many places to camp Afghan has one part that I can't stand. There is a section that had broken walls that people hide behind or just line up that one section with their guns and wait for people to show up. Underpass isn't too bad for me. I understand how people like to travel around in it. What makes me mad is the damn water way in the Underpass map

I always manage to get killed when I have a streak because some one shoots me from behind while walking behind me in the water way...

You can't accidentally stumble into one of these servers. You have to do so intentionally. As for cheating, those kinds of cheats are serverside. So just don't join cheat servers if you don't want to cheat.

This post.I agree with it completely.

The MW2 maps are all campers paradise, only rust(which never appears in team games) forces players to run around. The rest have so many annoyingly good spots to just sit and wait.

But there is always a way. Tactical insertion + Lightweight + Marathon + Commando...The best Revenge set ever. The camper is gonna reload as soon as he kills you, its part of what makes his stupid little brain tick....little does he know you are right round the corner already.

i really wish they had atleast a few none-campers paradise maps.

I don't camp and I absolutely love Afghan. That, Wasteland and the airplane boneyard map. I haven't had an issue with campers, then again I'm constantly moving and seem to find them before they can get a lock on me.

Oh and if you guys have such an issue with campers go play Hardcore, you won't have to worry about campers because you have to move or you'll get knifed in the back.

haha, the 3 ACR's that i've jacked off people when i run out of ammo have all brought me massive win. so i too am just as in love with it as you are, although i still have a few levels til i unlock it the FAL is my new buddy, M4 behind that

as for the campers, yeah, they're ghey, but its the same old ish on a new game. i love the maps, except even at level 40 i still hardly know them yet, which means i tend to walk right into a the middle of fire fights and get slaughtered my worst map is scrapyard, my best so far is skidrow i think.

Yea seriously.

Grab a Rocket Launcher and anything that has a nube tube attached, push the button then run into the room with the planes/vechicles and wait it out. Tube and rocket to get the bulk then pick off the laggers with the bullets. Then set your self for those who show up REALLY late. The riot sheild dude. Flash then shank.

Do the same for the next room but bring a Barret 50. Cal to shoot the one Juggernaught in the room. Then tube the rest and shoot to finish.

I finally reached level 70! It took me 2days 22hours or so. My K/D is 1.68ish.If any one finds out if it is worth it to prestige then let me know, if not I won't be going any where.

Probably not DLC, just Playlist updates.None of the hidden playlists look like they need any new resources so id imagine when/if they feel the playlists are worth it they will open the options up.

As for the whole prestige thing, id say it aint worth it.1 new custom class slot, new challenges and new Emblem/Titles.Some people are really into challenge and emblem collecting so they will prestige in a heartbeat. The extra class slot isnt worth losing everything as most people have 2 or 3 classes they main and the other 2 are experimental or specific job classes(like AC130 killer), so having one extra one doesnt really entice me much.
