wow, how very awesome and very cruel to tease us like that!!!! I'm now starting an official modern warfare thread, as it is worthy of one. Post any news or media as soon as you find it.

You can analyze the trailer too! they let you zoom in and everything!

My guess is this is going to be more terrorlst based then actual war. And my guess for locations based in the trailer is South America (Brazil) and Russia!

I see an oil rig and little birds, does this mean we'll be playing as Delta Force this time around? I'm getting tired of every combat game that comes out being a Marine, Where's the US Army love.

also the "terrorists" say remember no russian. and if you visit game sites, you can find translations of the russian being spoken, one i know was "every revolution starts with a revolutionary act" Also in the clip you notice the international arrivals sign, which means airport setting. For thoses who remember the end of CoD 4, the airplane mission? I feel its directly tied to this. You also see the Christ statue from Rio in one shot. Another shot shows some perk signs, though i cant make em out. All theses teasers really mess with your mind. Whats going to happen?! I would like to see more urban warfare and snow levels. Also will civillans be involved? I hope so. I hope they go even more realistic then previously. I would love to see random gun jamming and real life situations like that

Yes OP;DR is coming out for Xbox360, PS3, and PC, though I suspect the Pc version might wind up being better since the Operation Flashpoint games are outstanding on the PC. I might add that it's biggest competitor ArmA 2 is supposed to be coming out in the Fall. these are in depth realistic combat simulators that are extreme examples of the phrase "combat simulator". Think America's Army x 10.

You will have to not only deal with a VERY realistic AI but also innocent civilians. There are a number of vehicles that you will be able to not only utilize but also drive and use yourself. These are very CLAN heavy games, so don't expect to jump on and think you'll mop up like in COD or any other FPS. I suspect that the sniping will utilize bullet drop and wind effects but I could be wrong.

The damage modeling looks like it will kick a**, so if you throw a grenade or place C4 you will be able ot blow out walls and kill those on the otherside. If you've played the original I highly recommend picking it up for the original Xbox or the PC. This is promising to be 846337340345 million times better.

OP: DR has been in development for 2+ years so it should be top notch.

Well when I clicked the "Analysis" button and watched the video from the beginning my URL was constantly changing as if the video was broken down into thousands of pictures. It even changes if you zoom in and play it...

EDIT: I am also using Google Chrome browser so maybe it only works on Chrome

It's actually not going to be a COD game....from what I've read, it's simply going to be called "Modern Warfare 2."

Good. IW is superior to the dinguses (dingi?) who made CODpiece 3 and 5. They would do well to distance themselves from them so they can keep full credit for their well-made games.

Yea from what I have been noticing Marlin is right...

All I have been seeing is Modern Warfare 2 so this is GREAT!

I won't have to worry about any WWI/II variations or futuristic nonsense...So far my dreams have come true.

There they have the full second trailer, screen shots and an option to pre-order...

This game looks EPIC and it has ties to COD4...
