After seeing Surman's lights after Brandon's final touch I am still disappointed, Surman is going to do them himself like Dangeris did.

Whats not working right:

The LED's flicker.

The output is not uniform at all and cant be adjusted properly once you have them.

The deamon eyes are made by wrapping electrical tape around a Halo, and they dont match eachother.

The Angel eyes dont really function, they go on and off without reason (this happened at HIN)

If you dont really care about the function of the lights its ok, they look pretty cool aesthetically.

You guys can burn me all you want for chiming in here again and again about what the issues I see are, but I want everyone to be aware of what is really out there. Its all fun and games showing pictures of lights on a table, but real application is what counts

If you have a set of Brandons lights, pull up to a wall (10 ft away) and post a picture of the output, I am curious to see.

Has anybody heard ANYTHING from Brandon. This is getting a bit ridiculous. I think I'm going to try and get my money back through paypal, even if it was back in October, I still paid for a service/product that was not completed. This has got to be one of the sketchiest purchases that Ive ever made, so maybe I was naive by thinking that my situation would be any better than anybody elses. 3ugene...zigggy56...statik83 have you guys heard anything from Brandon at all?

I don't know what's going on with brandon, looks like all of this is dragging along too much.did you try calling him? his phone number is on the paypal transaction you did with him. check the paypal history in your account. if you can't find it, email me and i'll send you his cell number

I have called him. I'll try again, but the last 2 times when I called he didnt pick up. I just looked at the Paypal payment. I paid for these damn lights back in September, 2008. I'll give him till next week, then I'm disputing it on pay pal. I'm just tired of hearing "O man Ive been working on surman's, and dangeris lights, Ive just been so busy" but now I find out that Dangeris did them himself. then I hear "your lights will be in your hand next week" and then he'll say "I'm trying to find a box for you" then 3 days later "I'll get a tracking number to you when I send them" . Now I havent heard sh*t since then. No response to emails or nothing.

I did post it here on this page or the one just before but he asked me to remove it because of spam bots he said. here's a PNG image of it:

P.S.: Brandon, it can't be identified by possible spambots, notice these are not numeric characters but a PNG screenshot of it. No spam bot is advanced enough to roam NICO and do image recognition to find tel numbers.

Yes, you are right. But it will be registered when angry customers manually enter it into every spambot that exists.

And hey, I don't blame them!! After seeing Surnam's lights at Carlisle, this guy is the biggest fail ever.

btw, i spoke to michael surman and he said he was happy with his lights he just wanted to make one or 2 small adjustments, dangeris told me he was happy with the lights but he was doing his own thing with the upper piece and adding in his own led, i dont appreciate the negative comments about going to a subaru club and what not considering i havnt had any issues with local people. ive always stood behind things and some of the people chimming in arnt even part of the groupbuy. with all the stuff i have going on right now with my family and with my golden retriever who just turned 13 i would appreciate some sympathy from some people instead of starting this bogus stuff again. the part that bothers me is people just assume im not repsonding and i vanished with there money or my voicemails arnt getting checked, they are, ive responded to every email ive gotten, chances are if the email hasnt gotten a response is i never got it

btw those whernt michaels lights at the meet, his didnt get back to him in time. he told people that aswell, he was using a spare set that got trashed in the mail, i sent him spares to use while i was fixing his. he recieved them back said he was happy with them and what not. for lanya to say my customer service is crap is pretty low, ive always paid for shipping back to me, replaced parts for free. i cant control how packages get bounced around in the mail. theres only a few lights that need to be finished up for the groupbuy. if there is any issues after that i will adress them. weve gone over this once before if you have an issue with me send me an email. dont post it and not mention it to me, or tell me everythings fine when i do a follow up email then i find out someone is posting on a thread saying something is broken that same day. like i can only do so much with what you guys tell me. if you get your lights and something isnt right, email me tell me whats up and ill pay to have them shipped back. if something breaks after a couple weeks email me and there under warranty. lbc said about mikes led flickering, i have no control over that aspect, i test the led once there installed and i send the lights out, if theres an issue we can solve it. mike himself told me about it but said it had only happened the one time at hin and ive talked to him a few times since then. communication people thats all it is.im tired of fighting with people over the internet, send me an email and we can discuss whats going on, dont do childish things and put my phone number out there or make posts on other boards. i could see you doing that if i hadnt made an attempt to fix anything and just took of with your money but that hasnt been the case.

i ask at this time just to let things be quiet for a few days as i wont be on here as ive mentioned before i had a family death this past week and am going to the vets later on tonight. family comes first and at this present time i dont have the energy to argue with people over this and this is the farthest thing from my mind right now. i just ask that you be respectful and patient over the next few days as i will be with my family.thank you-Brandon

Really? Is that it? Why not help the community by being a bit more informative? The mere mention of "they suck because I said so" doesn't really hold up...sorry. As I mentioned in a post in another thread, it doesn't seem like there's been too much in the way of full disclosure on either side. I mean, we've all heard of the initial problems but then Brandon honored his personal warranty and tried to fix them. What the hell happened after that? All I'm hearing is the same "his work sucks" without any details, pictures, or evidence to back any of it up.Details, people...details! Please!

First time I received the lights, one angel eye broke a bit of paper or silicone inside the housing. I also can't adjust the lights. The light output is not the same as it was before. At night I could not see the street in a far distance anymore I shipped the one with a broken angel eye back in my own cost. a month passed by, I got the light back. It was even worser. Angel eye still broke in half. As I took out the light, the housing was moving. I was like wtf.... I took a close look to it and noticed one shroud chipped off and a bit of silicone still inside and it's even bigger this time. I asked him to send me another angel eye and I will do in my own this time. Well, I still did not get anything until now. I don't want to hear any damn explanation anymore. I still can't believe after more than 3 people are upset with his work and you guys still support him ? I remember how Bina really trusted in him and his work. He defended him against any bad comments from lightwerkz and other people. At the end, he was really pissed off and sold his lights. You guys want him to do yours lights.... go ahead. It's my experience and I shared with you. "GOOD LUCK !!! " I'm sure you'll need this

ok for the 12th time guys surman didnt have his lights at carlisle and thats all i keep hearing is wow his lights where s*** i saw them at the meet. he had a spare set while i was fixing his main ones. the spare set he had was a set that was damaged during shipping. ive sent legend emails asking him what issues he had becuase when he first got his lights he said everything was fine. then like everyone else they dont send me an email and trash me on the boards. how is that fair? how can i fix something when you dont tell me its broken, thats what your warranty is for

angel eye broke in shipping twice, i remember getting the box back and it looked like it was kicked during a soccer game. i offered to send an angel eye to you and never got an email back with your address that you wanted it sent to and if you wanted jb weld sent with it or anything else or even silicone i offered to send so you could reseal the lights but i never heard anything back from you until now and i see a post saying your lights are trashed? the beam was off because when they where dropped it knocked the bowl off the pivot point hence why the beam pattern was off

Why do I have to contact you again man ? I'm not stupid to pay more and don't get what I expect. Everything is done, and I don't want to talk about it. Let says it's my life experience.

you had to contact me again because you asked me to send you another angel eye and i sent you a reply and never got anything in the form of a response back. why be stubborn about this, i offered to send an angel eye out along with silicone, jb weld so you could replace this yourself. i cant control what shipping does. all i know is that i wasnt responsible for the angel eye breaking, the shape of the box shows it. from now on im going to start using those impact stickers. your more them welcome to send me an email if you still want me to send that angel eye out or for me to fix it, i cant see why you wouldnt want it fixed when im offering,

you place them on the box and it says if the box was dropped or not

so you take a picture off the light when you have the shrouds off and the upper piece off which covers all the glue? what is this supposed to prove? when you first got the lights you said you loved them there was just the angel eye broken during shipping. all off a sudden its turn into bash brandon on the boards. send me that lights ill ship you out a brand new one like ive sent you a ton of emails. you wont respond youd rather sit here and cause problems on a forum. ive even offered to cover shipping. ill see if i can dig up your original emails saying where you liked the lights and how this pretty much contradicts how your being now

seriously just getting tired off this stuff.i offer to fix the situation i ask for an honest opinion. constant theme is when people get there lights they say they love them or what not but then all off a sudden jump on a bandwagon and tell me the complete opposite of what they told me months before. same thing happened with bina thats happening here. how is this fair. everyone has my email and my phone number, if you had an issue with your lights contact me and i even offer to pay for shipping. i cant control what happened to his lights in shipping which clearly was a big issue if it knocked a shroud and broke an angel eye. i send pictures before i send them out and if they get broken i offer to ship them back to me for free. im tired of all this bickering grow up and send me an email if you have an issue with your lights im done trying to prove people wrong on here. if you want out of the groupbuy sell your spot or stay in it and know that i offer to send the lights back to me for any issues and i pay for it. i even have spare lights so your not losing anything since you keep your lights and nothing happens to them-Brandon
