'91 hatch with s13 redtop205hp and 196tqeverything stock here but a clutch

then later on i ran a 13.2@107 with a 1.9 60'. Had boost at 10psi. Was lowered and running on nitto neo gens.

I finally got mine fine tuned yesterday and the numbers are in... I'll try to get a scan of my dyno slip so you can believe it - id never heard of such numbers and was in disbelief...

td06 20G3" downpipe, hi flow cat, & exhaust370cc top feed injectorswalbro 255V-spec intercoolerstock mafemanage blue piggyback

...300rwhp, 300ft/lbs tq @ 8psi

and believe it or not it drives smooth, spools around 3500 and pulls hard to redline... with a yawn.

and if you havent guesses - yes this was a greddy kit with some of my own extras... and no it isnt spiking or creeping.

with my mods what do you guys think ill run& how much hp?? just estimations. Tracks are closed so i cant time it until it open. im hoping the high high 13s. planing to get a vlsd soon. Bigger turbo like the s15 t28 & 3'' exhaust by summer.

I set up my s-13 to drift but I took it to track to the funday-sunday at orlando speedworld. I spun in 1st 2nd and 3rd but here the time

1990 Nissan 240SX w/ S14 SR20DET

- unknown manifold w/ GT28RS @ 10-12psi- MeganRacing small intercooler w/ custom pipes- GReddy outlet, test pipe, A'PEXi downpipe & N1 exhaust- stock injectors, MAF, clutch & ECU- open diff & stock wheels w/ some walmart tires hahhaha

So far the best I've done with this setup is a 13.2 @ 107... Here is my most current slip (I'm the loser )

195 Potenza All Seasons and 1 Bar.

Would have dipped 12s with better traction in 2nd.

this is my old setup: retop sr with s14 t28, bc 264 cams, full exhaust, 11 lb drive shaft, 4.11 gears, front mount ic, slipping clutch retarded timing on cheap 205 tires on 9 lbs of boost. havnt takin new setup to track yet.

I can atest to high traps and hight et's. I went for the first time and trapped 105 and 108 with 14.8's!!!!!! I know, but its all about traction, a spectator came up and said i didnt stop spinning till the 8th. I thanked him and babied it out of the hole the next pass and ran a 13.4 @ 110 so its definatly there. I even has 2 guys offer me their tires. I declined and went home. 13.4 @ 110 is very good, considering i didnt even use 2nd. Spin off the line,......slam 2nd, spin till redline,.......shift. Run 3rd all the way to the 100oft then hit 4th. 110mph baby!!!

My car is a 87'toyota corolla GT-S AE86 (s13 version)

I have run 13.96 1/4 mile with this mods:

Engine: sr20det red top- 3'' exhaust and downpipe. - ebay front mount.- bosch 044 fuel pump .- ebay fuel regulator 60 psi.- vp 116 octane fuel ! w 20% premium gas- ceramic clutch.- stoc ECU.- stoc Turbo 14 psi.- shortened 240sx rear end.- locked diff 4.11 ratio.- bridgestone 205/50 R17 wheels.

A good friend of mine has a 81' corolla with sr20det black top.He ran ''13.53'' with this mods:

-sr20det black top s13.-3'' pipe and exhaust.-ebay front mount.-ebay header.-ceramic clutch.-s14 t28 turbine.-tomei reytec.-550 cc injectors.-15 psi boost.- toyota ae86 lsd diff 4.11 ratio ( broken 3 times now )- 15'' BF wheels. No Dyno

that was with 205/60/15 goodyear assurance tires, open differential, 13psi on stock t25
I know this is a very old post, but I was just wondering how you managed that amazing 60 foot with and open diff and some street tires?! Do you have some kind of special suspension set-up?

so weeks after weeks going to the track and failing at launching the car properly. Running a between a low 14 to a 16 sec in the the 1/4 mile.

Today I was able to launch my car and not bog and I was able to get into the 13sec on stock 7 psi

Old thread but no sense in starting a new one.

96 240SX w/ SR20DET (S14) 5 speed stock motor T28 S15 turbo Precision intercooler w/ custom piping Megan exhaust manifold, downpipe, test pipe, cat-back (3" turbo type) exhaust. everything else is stock. Here is the dyno, sorry no wide band sensor (it wasn't working).



9 lbs boost. stock wast gate.

3RD gear pulls were pretty consistent but I have a few questions.

1.Boost comes up fast to 6psi @ about 3K, but slowly follows RPM up to 9PSI. It hits 9PSI @ 6800 RPM every-time. Shouldn't it peak boost sooner? 2.Torque is lower than other Sr dyno's (9PSI stock) that I can find on Nico. Anybody else have other to compare. (maybe be higher if boost came up sooner????) 3.I have boost sense line hooked up behind (or downstream) from the throttle body, running across the engine to the turbo wast gate, tee'd in, and then to boost gage. Is that the correct place to sense the boost?

It sounded freeekin awesome I should have taped it.

- Peak Boost Top Mount & GT3071R - .63 - 4" Mouth, Polished/Hot Coated - 3" V Band Downpipe. Tial 44mm Wastegate - 2" Open Dump Pipe - .020 Over Bottom End, JE Pistons, Manley Rods, Lightened Crank, ACL Bearings, Greddy Intake, HKS Step 2 Cams, HKS Cam Gears, Springs / Retainers Valvetrain, HKS Fuel Rail, Seimens Injectors, SX FPR, OS Giken Twin Plate, OS Giken Transmission Gear Set, Silvia C's Shifter, OS Giken LSD, 3" Core Intercooler, 2.5" Intercooler Piping, HKS Race Blow Off Valve, ACL Well Cell, Bosch In Tank Pump... etc...etc...
