They're sitting in my shop, and they are available only to NICOclub members.
And to Ceningolmo's point, one more comment on this whole deal. As a group buy participant, your actions cost me a good chunk of change.
I was about to pull the strings on purchasing a set of springs for $139+shipping from Simon, when I heard from Wes about the group buy. Even though it was a little more expensive, it was my choice to participate in the group buy, both to help group volume commitment as well as to let Wes handle the transaction with Simon. I appreciate what this forum provides for the benefit of all of us, and for the many hours that people like Wes and others contribute to make it happen.
I purchased the last set from Simon for $275, the day after the 13 units had been essentially taken out of the market, and the group buy participants were left high and dry. I did not like it, but I felt I was lucky at the time….beggars can’t be choosers.
You violated the cooperative nature of this interest group. You had been involved previously, but what happened? Was there a reason you could not contact Wes and let him know that you were going to be noble; take the financial risk, buy the inventory and offer sell it at to NICO members at the better price? Was this to complex for you?
You disrespected the members who sent the money to purchase the springs, and Wes’ time and effort to make it happen. Only you know your intentions, but if the arrogance displayed in your post is any indication, you are fortunate that members of this forum would want the springs bad enough to be willing to deal with you. Otherwise, you’d be hawking the springs on Ebay for months with (0) bids, just like the previous vendor. But you're probably better than him, right?
