Isn't it possible to have an exhaust made for sub $200 ??? I'm interested to know why you didn't take that route. I just got the headers on and have been trying to find some local exhaust shops and price a custom cat back to finish off the IHE.

I continued to look around, and it seems as though custom cat backs go for around 3 or 4 hundred...

I think I'm just going to stick with my original plan and buy the Artisan.

Doc, I was hoping to have your help when I start my audio (whenever that may be) and now you won't be here come a few months hahaha.

You could have one built for sub $200, but your most likely going to end up with 2 mufflers like this....

Obviously not something "Megan Racing", but more likely a cheap $30 universal counterpart that produces a rice like sound.

However, with this system, not only is the piping of a high quality, the bends are mandrel, and look good. It all bolts together with gaskets to a T, and it has a single centered muffler with a dual output, like the Borla. The look which I'm personally fond of, and the design Nissan has used on the G series and Z series for years.

i went with custom exhaust and at first i did cat-back but left the stock muffler and it was $100. then to get the muffler it was $160. so it was like $260 all together... but thats excluding tips..

That rim concept has been out for almost a decade now and a lot of "show bikes" use it. I think he's just the first to market it to in the auto industry. Good luck selling that for that amount... $2k per wheel = FAIL

IDK, folks have been paying 10,000 to 15,000 for a set of rims for a while... obviously not the type of wheels that folks on this forum are use to.. I'm talking about custom, 1 off 3 piece wheels... or gold plated wheels, or 28" wheels... you get the picture...

the thing is, this guy can't make these wheels affordable to the average person and have honda civics and nissan altimas driving around on them... I'm sure he's catering to the clientel that don't mind spending $8,000 for a set of wheels... this way, he keeps these only on show cars, or extremely expensive cars....

Woot! Nice Doc! Now stop ignoring my phone calls . . .

Our cars should be done about the same time. We will have to go to our shop and take some pics. We can call it . . . "The Silver Coupes of Cali"

Prostituting myself to pay for school......

How are you guna prevent stone chips from hitting the bumper? Let alone those f*** face teenagers who will wanna crack the screen? I think this is guna bring you ALOT of stress and turn this car from your daily driver to once a year driver.

please read the WHOLE thread before making a stupid remark as such... he said "it will only go on for shows... car meets, otherwise, it'll stay in coverage... or I may rock it everyday who knows..."
