Hopefully more will attend...I had a good time. But indeed we need a chill spot local.Since people do tend to live a bit far we can always relocate every weekend.

PS: I'm in process of plugging my tire and will get that back to ya ! thanks

Anyone up for some drift action tonight?

Vieren - I got a bigger wrench, so you can leave the intercooler at home next time.

My car is stock too. All I have is lowering springs. Even if you don't drift, you can come hang out or ride in my car to help balance it out lol.

The two options we have right now for lots are meadowlands and this place in Secaucus.

The place in Secaucus is a lot smaller and gives you many more opportunities to crash, so I would prefer meadowlands instead. Both look to be about a half hour drive for you. Let me know if you're OK with making the drive or if you know of any spots closer to you that we can use.

I'm going right now. If anyone wants to meet up, give me a call. (201) 562-5770. Vee, if you don't come out tonight, I can probably pick up the tire from you on Thursday night. I'll be around Newark, so I'll give you a call.

Only drifted for about 20 minutes until this happened:

Then I continued to drift and this happened:

That's the biggest chunk of rubber that I've ever had come off of a tire.

Let me know your address or where you want to meet up tomorrow so I can get the tire. Meadowlands is empty tomorrow, by the way, so we can meet up there and get some practice in if you want.

Hey sorry bout the delay on PNC, just been busy with the holidays and crap. I drove threw one night, there were some cars in the lots so I couldn't have fun. There must be more lots there, I only saw one. That place is like a damn maze, I don't look foward to going back there again lol.

Where are you driftin around tonight, medowlands? Maybe I'll come through. I'm just low on gas so IDK, maybe I can borrow some money till pay day. I can use my mom's new gps I got her for x-mas to make it there and back lol. As for tires, I needed 4 new ones when I got my car last april. I think they ran me around $60 each (I work at a shop so I get a little break on the price). Their the cheapest I could get at the time. Some no name brand that sucks in the rain (Which is good in a way ). But mebe if we get together big enough of an order they'll give us a break. Lemme know.

I guess we should do more research on PNC and find their schedule.

Yeah, I'll be at the meadowlands tonight (the lots by Giants stadium, not the new arena). Hopefully Vee can come, and then we will have three cars at a meet (probably a record here). Give me a call (201) 562-5770 when/if you get there if you can't find me. I'll be there at 9.

I'm going to switch my front and rear tires for now, which should keep me going for a while longer.

BTW, if you're on stock 15 in wheels, you can get some Falkens (Ziex Ze 912) on edgeracing.com for $47 (last time I checked). With shipping, it's slightly cheaper than what you got. I'd be interested in doing an order if it came out to about $40 per tire or less. Otherwise, you might as well get those Falkens.

Not sure yet. Meadowlands is busy tomorrow night, and I have someone staying with me Saturday-Wednesday. So the earliest that I can do is next Thursday unless we go to the Secaucus lot tomorrow.

How close is the secacus lot in comparison to the medowlands lot. I know the medowlands is roughly an hour out from me. Next week I can go.

Even though it was about -50 degrees out, Vee and I got some practice in. Then he ran out of gas, and my left rear exploded. We called it a night after that... lol.

Is anyone getting tired of shredded tire pics?

Here's the Secaucus spot.

It's slightly closer to you, maybe 5-10 minutes less of a drive. Let me know if you want to do it.

Vee, did you notice any vibration with that spare tire? I just switched my fronts and rears. I put that spare on my left front. Now my steering is rocking back and forth. I think one of the wheels is bent.

My car vibrates automatically.

I need lower ball joints...possible steering rack bushing/bushings...possible rack and pinion...Tension Rods...WHOLE FRONT END !

So i wouldn't know man. My tires wear on the outside unlike yours on the inside.

You sure you don't already have the VLSD? All 91-93 SE models that I've seen have it, but it was an option so I guess it's possible that yours doesn't have it.
