Hmm, I guess somebody buying an auto wouldn't ask for the LSD option.

Apparently we're not meeting up tonight... lol. Are people free tomorrow?

Anyway, just to give everyone an early heads up, I want to do some practice at the meadowlands on Thursday probably around 9 or 10. I got two tires for free today after searching through a pile at some tire place, so I'm ready to go again.

I'm up for a meet or some practice. I don't have the tires that I picked up mounted yet, so not too much practice unless someone brings a spare.

I went crusin my area this weekend and didn't come up with much, plus I didn't venture to far off the highway's since I didn't wanna get lost...but here's what I came up with.

PNC outta the question. The lot was empty this saturday...well technically sunday, I went out late. I was gonna start sliding around, but decided to see if anyone was around the area, I'm glad I did. PNC is in Holmdel (A county you don't wanna get any violations in), I turned down a road only to come face to face with the Holmdel Townhall, maybe a few hundred feet away from this lot. That was a red flag, when I was leaving to go back onto the parkway, I saw a sign, close to the lot 'N.J State Police Station', so much for that. Just before I hit the parkway a cop had pulled someone over in the same area as the lot. So much for wishful thinking.

Checked out Cheesequake parking lot, to close to residential and main roads. I drove down 35 till I hit Perth, since it was close to a bay or whatever, I knew there were some kinda docks. I got turned away quickly from speed bumps that knocked your teeth out. Plus it was dark and couldnt really see **** (I need HIDs). Maybe crusin in daylight might be a better idea. There's just to many residential areas in my vicinity I don't think I'll come up with much.

I'll come through medowlands this week, I may not do much. I realized I don't have a spare and REALLY don't feel like getting a flat an hour away from my house. Unless someone has some spare steelies or the alloy rims I can buy, then I'll be in buisness.

Hey, we're not doing the e-mail list thing right now. I sold the website that I was hosting that on, so all the info is on this thread for now.

First, we need to get at least 10 people together that really want to do this and would be willing to pay $40 - $50 for an event. Then, we can actually rent lots (like Meadowlands or the place in north Jersey that we were discussing before). If we don't have people that are serious about it, we'll never get the money together to rent lots. So first let's get a serious group together, and then we can do a website or something to make this more official.

We'll find some more places, just have to look for industrial areas. Secaucus was pretty nice, but need to drive around some more to check out everything that's there.

Let's all try to get together at the Meadowlands this Thursday. Anyone that wants can do some practice, but nobody is going to drift for more than half an hour unless they bring multiple sets of tires... lol. So we'll have some fun and then hang out and get a plan together for finding new spots/renting lots. There are a bunch of places to chill on Rt. 17, so we can go to Wendy's or something and hang out afterwards. We'll see.

I'll bring a spare that anyone can borrow if they need it. Also, I have two SE alloys for sale in good shape if anyone wants them. They're $50 and I'll mount tires on them and balance for free (if you provide the tires... lol).

Hey miro, I'll take those rims. I don't have the money ATM, but I get paid saturday, so next week wouldn't be a problem. Unless you'd be intrested in a brand new never opened Mac 5-Pc. Screw driver set ($85 retail, Mac Item #SDRBM5CR). Their nice, same ones I use at work.

But I'll be down for this Thursday, I'd like to check out this lot and how to get there.

Nino, yeah I set up a mailing list and a little website way at the beginning of this, but then I sold the domain and website. So there's no mailing list right now. I'm pretty sure that's what he's talking about. Otherwise, I'm also confused.

My RB25, just let me know when you have the money, and we'll meet up. I have tools, so I wouldn't be interested in that, but if you have any parts you're looking to get rid of, let me know.

Yup. It's still on for tonight. I'll be there at 9. Call me if you get there and are lost. It's a maze of parking lots, pretty confusing the first time. It took me a while to find Vee when we met up there... lol.

I just moved (still northern NJ), so I don't have Internet access for the next week until I can get service installed. I'll be checking the forum once in a while (I'm at the library now), but not too frequently. So call me if you have questions about tonight or whatever at (201) 562-5770. I won't be checking this thread for the rest of the day.

My RB25, I'll bring the wheels tonight.

As for getting the other two wheels, I got a set of four steelies from a guy on craigslist just to use for drifting. The alloys might be harder to find, but not too bad. Do you want matching wheels or doesn't matter?

I wish I could sell you four alloys, but my car came with two steelies and two alloys. The steelies had hubcaps on them that looked exactly like the alloys... lol. I was tricked into thinking that they were all alloys until taking a closer look a couple of days after buying the car.

The ride home was much more easier than the ride there Weird thing happened at one of the turnpike toll plazas. This quirky semi-nerdy guy was workin the booth. As I'm looking down for the ticket he says...

'Great night for drifting huh?' 'The rain must make it easier to get SiDewAys' (He made a little sideways motion lol).

I said yea, I was just drifting in giants stadium.

The Stadium!?!?! LoL he got so excited. He got on to telling me how he's been turboing a few KA's he's had laying around from a few RB drops he's done. Im like at this point. I asked him if he ever heard of nico, he said, exact words 'No I'm Underground'...wtf is underground some shop or just some over used word someone uses to sound cool about being independent?

Anyway's he gave me his number and told me he races at Raceway park, which I plan on frequenting many times this year *hint hint*. That was that and I drove off, the toll was exactly $2.40 lol Coincidence?

lol... Funny story about the toll guy. How long were you standing there talking to him?

So I was really dumb last night, and I somehow forgot to put that wheel with the blown tire in my trunk after changing the tire.

I've seen the security guy drive around a few other times, but that was the first time he actually came by to make us leave.
