No its just one side, the rust started on the rail and started to get more and more longer and detach itself from the rail until it got like that. Where everything popped off if i recall correctly. Yea it sucks big time he has a whole new strut tower to weld in only thing is will the car drive straight after

We meet in my garage.

Yeah, we got all the info/forms for getting a racing license with the NJ state police, renting a parking lot in the Meadowlands, and getting insurance for events. We were really trying to be legit after getting caught on the street 5000 times or so. But there was so much work and money involved in setting up a single event that it wasn't worth it. I just wanted to drive, not spend all my time organizing events.

During the season, there are plenty of events to go to like Club Loose, Drift Nirvana, and other random things that pop up. You can also do it on the street if you're smart about it and pick your spots well.

LOL. He doesn't even have a 240. You're stuck with that thing forever. Wangan wing cursed.

Yeah. Those Pride Performance cars are pretty nice. LM24 does awesome work.

Give me a call. I'll probably be around all weekend. Slidewayz picked up my roll cage tubing this week. Roll cage time after I get those concrete anchors installed for the tube bender.

How much do you charge to discard tires? I have about 20 trashed tires I need to get rid of. I'd like to do it legally, if financially feasible.

PS: Slideways is awesome and has been getting me sweet deals on all my parts. Plus, they help me out with random stuff like picking up 80 feet of tubing from Staten Island for no charge. That's how cool they are. They're even opening dealer accounts with Lingenfelter and JEGS to get me LS1 parts at awesome prices. Yeah, so if you need anything for your car, buy it from them so you can support these cool dudes and save money (and not pay shipping). They're in Palisades Park. 201.944.4955. slidewayzmotorsports.com.

There have to be quiet spots in this town.. at least on sundays, no? and thanks for the names of the events man, appreciate it...

but yeah, haha, i don't have a 240, and don't think i'll be getting one... I'm not exactly in the best position to get a car and fix it up for drifting solely.. my next car will most likely be a g8 gt. Since I need to have a car that drives to school and back for the weekends/breaks. I don't have any technical know how, although I'd like to learn..

I confess, I powerslide (obv) by the golf course drives at night, and sundays i go to LHS parking lot. Overpeck is also empty on sundays ((by the bleachers)) when there's nothing going on, but the chances for a cop going down there is much more likely.

I live right by LHS. There's an empty spot in the trees on top of the hill where someone could see you from Grand Ave though. I've practiced there a few times, but I think a cop was watching me once from Grand Ave. I saw him drive away quickly and then turn on his sirens. So I went down that street to get out of the HS, backed up into that one-way street before Fort Lee Rd, parked, and walked home. Maybe I was paranoid and he was responding to something else, but it's a pretty big coincidence.

Overpeck park parking lot is too bumpy for a car on coilovers. I've tried there too. Yeah, let me know if you find anything around town, but I think I've tried everything at least in this area.

If you can afford a G8, a 240 would not be that big of an investment for you. A G8 would be a perfect car to learn with though. Yeah, let me know when you get that.

Donuts are way easy to drift on. And they make your car super low and stuff.

I have two automatics in front of my garage... ha.

Yeah, lots of people looking for transmissions these days. Getting hard to find. People running big power KA-Ts = KA transmission extinction.

Yep. I use it as a giant paperweight to hold down the tarp over some stuff I have outside.

If anyone wants the two transmissions, they are free. Take them home. Take them apart. See how they work and stuff. Automatic transmissions are pretty clever (although useless). Yeah, did I mention they're free?

Also, Dat's old single cam is still outside. Rebuild it. Build go-kart. Install single cam. Go kill yourself.

Nice. I'll try to make it but not sure yet.

Nino, you can still come get it and sell it for scrap. No really. Please, come get it. Yeah, I thought somebody took it, but then I found it under some crap on the side of the garage.
