You are out of your mind lol.

I have rust on the edges of 3 where it meets the strut tower

I would take pictures but a buddy of mine said its bad luck unless im going to fix it lol. I was thinking the job would range me for both sides 100-200 bucks for both sides on how miro did it.

My coils are coming this week and i am pretty cautios about installing them with that rust on the tower i scrape it off it wasnt bad just i hit it to hard and the screw driver went through roflmao meaning the metal is weak and needs to be reinforced, so i might have to hold on a bit or just install the coils and garage the car

hehe my sister goes to bergen... but i was there a few weeks ago speeding up and down the parking lot for like 20 min picking her up though lol

i dont think i know a person that would argue w/ u on that lol surprisingly the top part of my towers isnt that bad on the blue car, the red car has a lil something something here and there but ill be working on clearing that out. i got so much work to do on both of them... but i talked to a few people today and it seems like the matter is decided... my coupe is getting new towers, might get them blingified, deff reinforced and stitched courtesy of ATX and a assload of cash.

i wish i could work on my car like miro is but sadly my work depends on my car right now... so thats y im getting the coupe done as a daily... once i slap the 30r on the ka in that red car im gonna want the chassis to hold up and the wheels are pretty dope, got a great deal on them too w/ pretty fresh tires... and they look pimp on both cars lol

seriously ive had people wave me down and ask me to pull over just to ask me about it lol

I dont know wtf Is wrong with my car. I did a compression test today and i got 170 across all four, and i thought it was the head gasket. The wierd thing is last year all four were around 150. But i'm thinking maybe this Bar's leak stuff i used actually worked. I tried it on thanksgiving and i havent drove my car since then cuz it still overheated, but today it didnt. Maybe it needed to dry lol idk.But then my car never overheated until like10 minutes or less of driving, and i still have white smoke. The coolant also looks alil milky, but it could be from the headgasket stuff? Sam, Miro, anyone. Should i just replace with a new head gasket or wait and see what happens

well if you oil is getting milky you gonna do bearing damage soon any clean plugs? the white smoke is a dead give away that the head gasket is leaking coolant into the combustion chamber but the semi good compression is weird pour 2 caps of a quart of oil into the cylinder and do the test again if the reading is higher you rings are bad and junk the engine if its the same than it might be leaking into the cooling system pump shop air into the cylinder when its at TDC and see were you hear the air coming out look for bubbles in the cooling system if the rings are good and you go ahead with the headgasket do a timing chain kit and take the head to get rebuilt and do a water pump and flush the cooling system and engine good and do valve seals get a head kit from felt pro i only trust them and get new head bolts and if you have any other questions just ask lol good luck

well the oil is not milky at all. The plugs are clean which is why i thought of head gasket. But then again when i overheat i lose coolant. ok im gunna try with the oil first thing in the morning.

Thanks Sam

1. Make sure you have all the air out of the cooling system. Raise the front of the car (so bubbles go up to the rad), put a large funnel in the rad, fill the funnel halfway, turn on the car and let it run for like 15 minutes (rev the engine once in a while). There should be no bubbles coming out after a while. If there are, then something is wrong. If no bubbles, it shouldn't be overheating anymore.

2. What does the exhaust smell like? Antifreeze out of the exhaust has a pretty distinct smell.

3. Is there white smoke all the time? It's normal to have white smoke while the car is warming up. Water that condensed in the exhaust/cat is evaporating while the car is heating up.

4. Take it to a shop and tell them that you think your HG is blown. Unless they're total bastards, they'll probably take a quick look at it for free.

5. Sell your car, and put the money towards something that doesn't need so much work (like an S14).

Seriously. Get it. This is an awesome deal.

Miro i would if i had money, But im broke=(

Sam i put acap and half full of oil into one of the cylinders. It raised the compression by 10 psi. I know that means rings but if the rings are holding 170 psi they cant be that bad. And that shouldnt be the reason y i'm overheating and losing coolant without any leaking. The car runs perfect for like 10 minutes then overheats. There is no wierd noise either. I'm stumped as fcuk

prob beating it to death but bleed the sht really good... when i swapped my rad i had the car running w/ the bleeder screw out for like an hr and tiny boubles kept coming out... it finally stoped and i havent had any issues ever since... i thought i had bled it good the first time... then the car overheated and i scared the sht out of myself... got up to like 220 degrees on the consult since i dont have a gauge... the dash one was up in the red pretty bad... but like i said... bled it for an hr and no problems since.

and the smell of the smoke is very important too. ive smelled a ka w/ a blown headgasket and u can immediatly smell the coolant. however marcs been having a problem w/ his car blowing whitish smoke and it seems like its fuel... deff doesnt smell like coolant and i dont think hes losing any coolant either. i think something w/ his fpr. my car it blows smoke if i idle for a while and rev it a lil... one of the perks of not having a cat i guess.

if u do have a blow headgasket, ARPs and felpro all the cool kids are doing it

Nice Sam. So sleeper... haha.

Was driving my girlfriend home last night in the Durango:Her: Wow, you've gotten a lot better at drifting.Me: How have I gotten better? Her: I'm not scared anymore.ahaha

BMAR, I talked to Dat about fixing your strut towers. He's willing to do it, and he's a better welder than I am, so it'll come out nice. Just give him a call (973-477-5989), and work out a price.
