Hit the deer not more than 100ft from my house tonight on what seems to be one of my worst days today. Crappy day at work, washed phone in the washing machine now this on the eve of the Grand Prix festival at Watkins Glen which I paid some decent money to attend. Let alone the Nissan/Datsun event won't come around for another 10 years at least. The deer is dead, I have pics of her but she's mangled so I won't post them here. The rad is cracked, the inner fender is smooshed, the passenger door won't open...the works. I only had liability on her and I don't have the money to fix right now...she needs a whole cab from what I see so far. It will likely take me a couple years to get this fixed because I would insist on fixing it myself. So cheers to the end of a crappy season and a crappy day!!!

Woooow, that really sucks. Dam, another one of the cleanest and simplest trucks around, done.

You know I don't mean to laugh but it was funny. When I saw the title I thought "what did he wreck the truck".... Yep.

Seriously tho, I feel your pain. 2011 has been full of disasters

That sucks so hard dude. You have the cleanest Hardbody on here as far as factory style is concerned.

Silver lining, its a truck, throw the deer in the bed replace the radiator, and take the truck to Watkins Glen, as is. I bet you are the story of the show.

I really like your truck, sorry to hear about this - life is rather unfair sometimes. Best wishes on the repair, no matter how long it takes.

I'm poor so after sleeping on it I think this project is done. What I might do if I ever come across some cash is buy another one, hopefully in as good a shape, and then transfer all my parts over to it. I am keeping the truck but it's going into storage till the day comes I can afford to continue. Also won't make Watkins Glen which is a total bummer. The way my luck is going I think I am going to stay on the couch for the rest of the weekend.

Which is why I am keeping it. It's paid for and isn't costing me anything to have around. We priced out used cabs and a southern cab will cost me roughly $500 which is pretty good. I am keeping all options on the table for now.

Rev, I'm SO sorry to hear what happened. Glad you are okay, though, that impact must have been fierce...

She can be rebuilt. We have the technology. She can be made stronger, faster, better. :)

Fix the rad, beat the door open, spray paint EFF YOU DEER over damage and drive that beast.

For super cool drifter points throw some zip ties on it.

Freaking surreal. September is the month with your truck on the NICO calendar. Instant before/after pics.
Sucks man. good luck with whatever you decide to ultimately do.

Dude. ;_;

This sucks major time. Your truck is sooo clean. I hope you can get a new cab for it. It'd be great to see you get that thing back on the road. But hey, it could've been a LOT worse. So be thankful that you didn't hit something bigger...or hit that deer any harder.

Is it weird I thought that sounded dirty?

I'm gonna go hide in my closet for 3 hours.

Good luck to you bro!

NO!!! Dude i have a salvage yard in Sulphur Louisiana. Tops Auto Recycling

These are the parts I have: I looked up the parts for a 95 hardbody

Radiator core support $70
RH fender $50
New Aftermarket RH and LH turnsignal $40 (the reason why I will have to sell both is because they are going to be chrome trim instead of black)

^^ Thats all I have...

If your interested ill get you an actual shipping quote..
