I think there is more to this than we know.

I think the Search function is pretty unfriendly for "noobs" and new members of Nico. I find it often frustrating that I can't find threads by searching under the default serach option of "Thread Titles", while with Post Bodies, I find all kinds of information.

I personally think that all searches should search the topic title and body. Then provide results as Topic Titles and if the person wants Bodies to show up they can click the second option.

This would be much better for the new members of Nico.

I'll bring it up to the admins. I've been seeing a rash of "can't find sh1t, cap'n" threads recently. Usually, I can find stuff pretty quickly, but I also know to check archived stuff. Of course, we could be limited in changing the search features because of the forum software. It's been limiting for a lot of things in the past, unfortunately.

But again, I tend to think that the new guys only do a very general search and when they don't get what they want on the first shot, they start asking.

Another problem is that there's quite a few years worth of old posts to search/sort through when you start looking for info. So that does get to be overwhelming.

EDIT: I cleaned the thread up considerably.

To answer your question.

I think you should get some kind of fuel management and a wideband personally.

I would stay at 6-7 PSI for now until you find out what your Air to Fuel Ratios are.

Good luck. Sorry for your experience here on Nico.

I agree, I have never had any problem finding what I need to know between Nico's search and a little google action. I have long understood that it may take ten or fifteen minutes of searching, but the truth is, its still faster than waiting for responses, especially if most of those responses are telling me to search. I think a large portion of new users are affected by the same thing most teens these day are, laziness.

Kids these days, and I will admit I am guilty of this as well, want things done now, and they don't want to work for them, the level of car thefts today is a testament to that. People need to learn, getting answers takes work, you cant expect everyone else to do the digging for you.

I don't mind a newb question once in a while, many of these people just don't understand the dynamics of a forum as large as Nico. They need to be informed in a polite, and kind manor, most of them will quickly learn, and hence become a more productive and helpful member themselves. This doesn't always happen, sometimes users get the flame instantly, yes once again I am guilty, but I am trying to be better, and I'm not the only one who needs to work on that. My problem is with certain members, who, no matter how many times they are told, refuse to learn, they think they are all important, and we are here to cater only to them. These are the people that set me off.

im sorry for what happened and all the cursing. but i did search around quiet a bit. all i wanted to know is with a stock fuel set up is it still safe to run around 10psi, im getting a aem ems and would tune it, just wondering with a t3/t4 it would most likely max the injectors out alot easier. so with that said sorry again.

Depending on the turbo, but I think it would be safe to say that it would max those injectors out.

It's always better safe than sorry. I would get a wideband as soon as possible.

I'd run 7 PSI on stock injectors and be buying upgraded 750 or 850 for some room as soon as possible and start the tuning process.
