I'd say around 350ish... Just cuz I know people with putting 350 at the wheels w/ stock internals...then I've seen people putting down like 400-500, but when I read the mods list... its like forged pistons n such...
Snoop with a 510?

ok cool thanks. and i know that motor it all depends on tuning im just asking what the most common max out of a sr20det. but thats good to know. i know the car had 300whp at one time. but it blew like three years later and been rebuilt but a kid got it and didnt know what he was doing with the car and now my friend picked it up im try and get the car off him and bring it back to life hopefully 350whp is what i was shooting for.

and also on the setups with the ppl putting 350 down what size turbo and how much boost they running? im thinking a t3/t4 57trim or 60 trim, or a sc61 or sc34. and run 550 injectors.

That is a reasonable amount of boost. Anymore and race gas needs to be run.

ok so 15-17 psi on a sc34 or garrett t3/t4 60 trim 550cc on 93 oct gas is around the limit on a stock sr20det. and tuned it should be around 350whp.? thats the setup im looking at putting on the motor.

I would guess some where between 320-350whp on that setup. That isn't the limit of the block though. But if you plan to run more than 17lbs of boost on a decent size turbo, please use some high octane fuel.

ok cool well 350whp is where i would like to be at for the moment im in the process of getting the car. it has the stock turbo on it still but has a few other goodies it dont run so that would be the first step then a new bumper and hood. then it will be getting it to 350whp.but when i last seen it running it had like 300whp on the stock turbo or realy close to it like 275whp. what kinda setup would it take to hit that whp on the stock turbo. like fuel sytem and such. i know it has fmic and bc. but as for rest of setup idk. any idea what it takes to hit that mark.? thanks for all the help guys.

It all depends on the motor, like how much abuse it took, how many miles it has, and just an all around gerneral look over the motor..I picked up a spair block that looked mint..and probably only had about 40k on it..all it took was 9psi and one top speed run of 160 then BOOM blew a rod out of the side of the block and destroyed the crank This is what happens when you get an sr that was built at 4:30 on a friday at the factory

More than likely high EGTs caused your failure. When doing topspeed like that EGTs tend to rise which will lead to the motor failing.

350whp is easily attainable on the stock bottom end, and is not, by far, the most you can go on stock bottom end. Right now Im making 511 whp on my stock bottom end, which was my daily driver until a few months ago. This was done with an SC61 with Z32 MAFS and 750cc injectors. My setup is coming apart right now to actually build the motor so I can make some new real power. My car has been over 500whp for a couple years now.

If you ever think you may want more power than 350whp, start out with a Z32 MAFS and 750cc injectors, this way you dont have to upgrade your fuel system if you want to upgrade your turbo. I wouldnt use an SC61 unless you wanted well over 350whp. at 10# the SC61 is not even close to its efficency range. I only made 302 whp @10#. At around 15# the turbo is in its efficency range and will work much better. If you want 350 it would probably be the least expensive to get a T3/T4 57 trim, or the 60 like you said before. If you want more power though, go for the SC61, it is a geat turbo. I am still going to use it at first with my new setup.

There is no "max duty cycle" injectors will run at above 100% duty cycle, they just wont last too long. But I know of people who have pushed over 115% for months without issue, I personally just don't feel comfortable running much more than 85%.
