I've searched and only found a few times mentioned with regards nitrous...Aries did a 13.5 on a 200 shot, someone claimed a 14.75 on a 100shot, and someone else claimed 14.9 on a 75 or 100 shot(can't remember)...

So i'm just looking for any times people have had with nitrous and what mods you were running...and even if you just know of someones time on nitrous, post it...

Just how fast did it go? And what clutch would you suggest for running 200+shot?

I would suggest an ACT Stage 2 XD clutch. it's the 2600lb clutch that we use on almost everything.

My car went fast enough to get me booted for no cage witht he 200 shot.

I thought a cage wasn't required until 11.99 or is it 10.99....you telling me you ran that fast on a 200 shot?

i cant seem to get a good et but im getting a good trap speed... 15.1 at 96mph. once i get off that line the way im s'posed to, i should be good for a low 14 run. 75 shot with a msd digital 6+.

Ok so your telling me if things are tuned right than a KA on a 200 shot can break into the 11's? Did you have slicks? Was that on your automatic?

What negitive affect did the slicks have on the drivetrain? What was your 60'? I guess a 11.8 makes sense since it would be around 350hp...how wide a wheel is needed for 10.5 slicks? any clearence issues? rubbing? I have about a million questions, most of which can only be answered by you aries so bare with me...

On a side note, i'll be goin to texas in a few months...where is your shop located now? I know you recently moved...

We're out in Katy on the west side of H-town.

you can put a 10.5 wide slick on a stock wheel, but nothing smaller than 6.5" wide. 26x10.5 does not rub at all on a stock height car. My car was dropped near 4" and still didn't rub.

Did you use a FPR or larger fuel lines? You must have used larger injectors, what were they? And couldn't a safc tune the fuel just as well? And what did you have your timing set at?

Also, was this on stock internals? I searched a good bit and in most posts you mentioned you had forged internals on your old setup...

stock ka internals are forged. except for the pistons. they are of the lightweight aluminum variety.

no doubt hes fast but also spent alot more money. I think hes a 3 spd or 4spd automatic too. most of us are broke and if we do want to cough up the money we would probably do an easier swap or turbo the ka. Props for the ls1 creation though. I'm just aiming for a good mid high 13 second car

the rear end turned out amazing...I wouldn't recommend it for daily driving though...Mine is a full on spool setup. Both wheels turn same speed. No matter what:eek:

With a ka, chris ran a 13.9 Mind you that was a stock internal motor, sotkc cmas, no lsd, and street tires. I saw it myself. It was also on a 75 shot zex dry shot.

Its not hard as long as you can drive good.

Thanks,

josh
