Ive looked on eBay and there are a few sellers selling blacked out headlights, but the image is the same for each seller yet there prices are totally different and I don't want to get a crappy pair.
get the cheapest one ; ) theyre all the same IMO its just pick of the litter really... in the end their all made in taiwan... its just they choose to price it differently.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-04-PA ... 246wt_1066

but this one is the same price and comes with an HID conversion kit

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/6000K-XE ... 950wt_1032

should i go for the standard one so i dont go fooling around with the electronics?

ps. i do want to add strobes later if that helps with choosing.

strobes, be wary if you add those... some like it in the corner lights some in the head lamps, where ever you decide to put it keep in mind those lil things generate ALOT of heat so dont keep them on too long. (meaning they will do some damage from within)

as for the lamps. they are both the same. THe HID package one i would buy cuz its cheaper, simply put dont put the HIDS if you dont want to add them. If you do want HIDS ( i strongly suggest getting them) there are other brands out there (phillips) that are much higher quality.

china brand HIDS would do you some good for a year or so but you want something that lasts.

i have considered strobe lights for a long time but since my Underglows went in i've determined they are not of much use besides fun in the night trails (which i used on friday night when i went about 100 km of loose gravel logging roads) drove along the beach and s*** and by damn alot of people got out of the way when they saw me coming.... pretty awesome for visibility purposes :o but strobes.. youll never use em so again its up to you.

Youll have to drill holes and seal it to avoid condensation.

edit :: i just checked the shipping. and depending on where youre at go by that. Be wary of ebay sellers, they like to trick people by shipping costs

like i said earlier you have the choice to put the HIDS in or not. you dont HAVE to. it just comes with the package. all in all look at it as a "gift" ? you can use the head light housings with or without

Innovazn- ok I'm gonna order the lights tomorrow night and my rims are going on thursday afternoon so I think by then I'll start my own thread. Now on to the 5 peice grille you got. Can I get a link so I could buy it. And any other stuff I would need to install it. Ps. For the Chrome lip should I buy a new one or just work with the old one? Also did you paint the grille the same black as the brush gaurd ? If so what black finish did you go with?

Thx

Innovazn- you have mentioned you painted parts of your grill to go with billet grille. the question i have for you is i didnt want to waste money and buy new tail light guards since theres nothing wrong with them but the fade they got over the years. I wanted to give it a light sand and then repaint them. i wanted to know if you knew what type/finish of paint i should use?

ps is it possible to get the foam looking washers for the again? the ones i have i all dried up

Multiple routes for the tail light gaurds.

Paint in ANY colour you see fit. But for stock OEM, its a semi gloss black from what I've seen.

You can have them professionaly powder coated (like they should)

Or the same old Sand, wash, dry, tear apart a clothes hanger and hang the things and spray away. ( i always advise that everyone PRIME everything they spray as it definitely helps the paint adhere and loast alot longer) like wise with Clear coat. Or simply put use rock gaurd paint and skip the clear coat
