Well as I develop my two S12's more, I'll prolly post more on here for both tech Q & A as well as to share what I've got.

Sounds like someone needs to find an S12 and a fine b**** and get to work!

Honestly, though, girls posing with 25 year old economy cars is kinda goofy. I mean, would you take pics of hot chicks with a Chevette?

I don't know where you live but the S12 in any configurations is super duper rare in my area, I almost bought one a couple of years ago, place was selling it for $500 and it had the VG30 in it but it looked like it had been ridden hard and put away wet, so I got my S14 for $1300 instead. Kicking myself in the a** ever since, can't find another one for sale anywhere.

The hachi's are just as rare, but the Corolla coupes and sedans are freakin' everywhere.

Just did a search on Autotrader any distance from my zipcode and came up with 51 results search was for 83-89 200SX and 83-89 Toyota Corolla... only 6 were S12's.

Cause their spaceship interior sucks.

My 86's interior is my favorite of any car I've owned. Simple, to the point, a dash I can actually sit something on (rather than the sloping worthless dash of my S13), nothing flashy, etc.

they're roomy as hell too.

same can be said for the S12.

sadly, we got the shaft on the good ones here though.

I'd love to have a Gazelle or an RS Turbo...

Speaking of Mister 2's, I'm going to go look at one tomorrow. I have a blacktop 20v longblock laying around my house doing nothing that could use a job.

The s12/200SX V6 edition, which came out in 1987 model year, was the company's hurried response to Toyota's Supra. The Supra was a very successful enterprise for Toyota and was selling well, so Nissan jumped into the pool with its' transplanted V6 and captured some market share. The 200SX only lasted for 2 years in the S12 V6 format before there was the model change to the 240 SX, so only around 8,000 '87 and '88 200SXs --ever-- were made with a 6, making it a very rare car then and now. About 60% of the car's production was sold in the USA.

There's a guy just across the river from you in NJ who collects these things...He has like 4 or 5 and sells one every once in a while.

I loved my Starion's whole interior. The seats had nice bolsters. The dash wash super easy to read and looked classic 80's, very angular. The seat belts say 'turbo'!
