Since you have the ES master kit you know that they are only inserts then. Since you have the subframe out already I think you should opt for actual bushings. I personally wouldn't get the solid aluminum ones because my car is daily driven, but there are poly ones out there.450SX! wrote:have you heard anything about them yet.I bet they are a rough ride but tight.I like them and they are much cheaper than the nismo ones
really?mmm240 wrote:there are poly ones out there.
The ones in the first link are still spacers, and he is using aluminum bushings in the second link...mmm240 wrote:http://phase2motorsports.store....html
I'm not sure what brand this guy is using, but they are polyhttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/97924
I think they are just a 2 piece design.nissanman04 wrote:

It says he put them in the freezer to shrink them, that wouldn't do any good if they were aluminum.nissanman04 wrote:and he is using aluminum bushings in the second link...
Nope, those are just like the aluminum collars only in urethane...there is even a slit in the top pieces so that you don't have to drop the subframe. If they were full bushings, there would be no need for this slit.mmm240 wrote:I think they are just a 2 piece design.
Aluminum expands and contracts with temperature just like every other material.mmm240 wrote:It says he put them in the freezer to shrink them, that wouldn't do any good if they were aluminum.
