One day while visiting friends down in my home town.... I get a call from an unknown # and who should it be?? Cameron. I now have his new cell phone #... and he tells me he is workng hard to fix the situation and any time i need to call he'll answer...(this has held true every day since then.) he does, however, tell me that if I give the # out to anyone he will change it again and then we won't be contacting him. Rob swears the engines are on the way.. he has never had a problem before Cameron and he just wants this crap over with... Cameron is now telling me Rob's containers has full skylines he was trying to import illegally and were found by customs... his container was sent back to Japan. At first I'm nto all too sure who to trust but when ANOTHER week goes by and still no clips come out of cutsoms and Rob will no longer return calls... I go with Cameron on this one. We agree as a group to give Cameron a month to fix the situation without trying to sue or anything else... he states a certain big name person whom I won't mention on this forum had 6 Rbs lined up for purchase but didn't have the $$ so he told Cameron he could purchase them to fix this situation. Well according to Cameron the supplier didin't hold them for him and were sold before he could buy em. Cameron states he now has a new supplier and he is going to go to Japan to meet with the supplier in person. Cameron is gone for 2 weeks and when he comes back he sates he has 5 of the Rb clips sourced now through his supplier.. during the time he is there i ask him to pick me up some R32 GTR tail lights... upon his return I received them.... a few weeks go by and Cameron tells me he is trying to get thing set up with an AZ customs broker so he can import the engines he has found. Weeks go by and he is still setting it up...Sept. 2003. The engines have been found... customs is all set up and they will be sent any day. We tell him we MUST see some proof stuff is happening so he faxes me a copy of his plane ticket... it looked pretty authentic so I accept it as some proof of SOMETHING. nothing really happens... then Cameron goes off to Washington for practically all of Oct. I tlak to him a few times while he is there.. and he tells me the engines should be there oct.31st-nov.4 so he'll be back just in time.

Nov. 2003. Cameron returns... while he was in WA I asked him if I could get an Apexipower intake Z32 AFM he had purchased. He told me yes, it was still in Japan though with his supplier... he gives me the email and I email the guy... a guy from Japan emails me back.. i pay a paypal account and it arrvied like 4 days later in great shape. Cameron also sends Joel some sort of Bill of Lading or shipping inventory or something... but its in Excel format? there is a lot of info in it so I mean either a lot of time was spent making up false crap or its real. Cameron now states as he has on this forum that the bank transfer failed twice..... I don't know how bank trnasfers wrk but aren't they instant like a DEPOSIT? shouldn't he have known that when he was at the bank/credit union/ whatever making it?? anyways..... he now tells me he has sent it again, he had the improper nifo b4 and now they are paid for and the engines are en route. and thats pretty much it.

I made a trade with a guy about 3 weeks ago... he has rights to my RB... he sends me his SR.... I now have his SR almost installed... it seems all ****ed to me but we'll see.. I just got the aluminum koyo radiator PATCHED today if thats any indication to you. I made the trade with this guy under the pretence tha tI actually thoguht Cameron would come through... now I need him to because if not I may have to send this god forsaken thign BACK to this guy. well thats it thats a quick gist of the history of all this.

Pros:Fax of plane ticket.Whatever the **** Joel recievedI actually receive R32 GTR tail lights and his custom downpipe and Walbro fuel pump.The Z32 AFM and apexi filter actually came from Japan.

Cons:Its approaching a YEAR now...Excuse after excuse after excuse.. its as though the god of bad luck has stricken every possible event in this process.Cameron bailed out on us once communication wise.People who aren't invovled but did business with him before he saying he is "Shady"

so there u have it. I need food now.

Yeah, like he cares. He kept BEGGINg me to email him. So I do and I gave him both my work and home numbers and he still hasnt gotten ahold of me. I asked him to email his story so that I could see if his stories match the stories of people involved, I tell him that if it all checks out, I will retract my statement and make a formal public apology. I also suggest if he is pissed at me about this to sue me for defamation of character. He will have to prove to a judge that what I am saying is not true, I doubt that he can.

i guess you guys just saved me from a $7500 mistake...

ill be getting my clip elsewhere [$7500 sounded steep for a R33gtr anyway]

Oh I wanted to add to my posts that he has had great communication with me over the past few months...if i call he answers, the only problem being I'm not the only one who needs to talk to him. He did send me my accessories and he did send most of us invoices. I think Joel is the only one who didn't get one(not making this a moot point, Joel needs one. I'm just sayin.) So he very well could be working hard to fix all this. I sincerely hope he is NOT trying to buy a new car and all that while this problem continues... that'd be highly unfair to Chris(Chachi) whos been waiting for a refund for months.

First, let me say that I do not post on this subject very often because while I know a great deal about it from both ends, I do not consider it my business because I am not a customer. I have just met Cameron for the first time in person(I am his web designer). He was in California for a day for some business meetings (some of which I went to today) and I provided him a FREE place to stay as he was prepared to sleep in his car again (yes, he did have his sleeping bag and a pillow in his car when he got here). I have now seen first hand emails from his supplier that came in last night that confirm that the first shippment IS being shipped out and he now has a vessel number and all the other info that goes with it. I believe that container has 3 RB25 clips in it and is officially schedualed to land in Long Beach on Dec. 8. On a personal note, while I don't always agree with the way Cameron handles his customer relations, he HAS been trying extremely hard to fix this situation and all of the bad fortune that he has told you about really is true. I also feel very sorry for you guys and can understand your hostility though because you shelled out your hard earned money months ago (some longer than others) and haven't seen anything in return. This is a crappy situation for EVERYONE involved, but as far as I can tell, the end is finally drawing near.

And then what....February 28th....April 15th....You guys dont Actually BUY THAT, DO YOU? And what happens if the clips he gets you guys h ave problems? How long to get the issues resolved? I say you guys just get ALL your money back and buy from somewhere else.

Geee Jon, I thought it was decided that it wasn't your problem to deal with and any more problems you might have would be taken to email. I'm just telling you what I have seen with my own eyes. The container comes into customs on Dec 8. I don't know how long it will take to get to the customers from then though. And Jon, I saw the email from you to him, and I also saw the email he replied with saying that he was out of state and would give you a call at his earliest convenience. I don't have a problem with you, but lets stick to the facts when we have them, not speculation.

Is it not fact that they have been given these "dates" that the motors were supposed to come in? Is it not fact that all those dates have passed and motors are still not in?

Thanks stealth, it is AMAZING that people are still under his brain washing....

He told me to go to email so it wouldnt be public and it just seemd amazing to me that he had the time to email me and tell me that he didnt have time to email me. It WAS agreed that I would give hima chance to explain and he seems to have back out on explaining himself. I will tell you what, gaboosie, you want this to end, supply the engines and wait on Night yourself to get reimbursed...then we will see how sympathetic you are.

Like I said, I am very sympthetic towards the customers, and I completely understand the doubts and general aggression toward Cameron for not getting the engines in. I do not on the other hand understand why you (Jon) have gotten so involved with this. It seems you are causing everyone more stress and trouble, including yourself. Not only that, but from what I've seen, you are getting as manipulative and twisting words the same way you think Cameron has over the past few months. I don't take sides because I'm not involved in the transaction myself, I was simply trying to put out some information that I saw first hand that may help to reasure some of his customers that there would be an end to this nightmare soon enough. I also saw pics of the clips (same ones he sent to each of his customers) and they look quite nice.

FYI - For those of you who gave any credence to posts made by JonPowell (half of this thread), let it be known that he has violated my policy of not commenting on business dealings with an advertiser UNLESS you are a current or former customer.

Since Mr. Powell misled me (and all NICO members) by stating he was, and by so vehemently attacking Cameron's business (when it turns out he has NEVER lost money to Cameron), he has been banned from the boards.

I can't tolerate liars.

Im sorry to carry this thread on any longer, but I agree Jon should get another chance. I dont post much here, but i read this forum every day, and Jon has been a strong attribute to the RB community offering a lot of good information on the swap. Also, Jon stated many times that he never bought an engine from Night, for example:

"I may not have bought a motor form you..." posted in http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....ber=4

and "...and I never bought anything form him" posted inhttp://www.nissaninfiniticlub....ber=1

Im not saying what Jon said was right or wrong, but with so little information about the swap out there, its good to have someone around who knows a little something about it. Just my 2 cents on the whole thing.

Screw him. I was also getting sick of his crap, how he defamed Cameron by constantly harassing him even when he wasn't a customer in the first place.

It's not a matter for the customers to decide .He was directly attacking the buisness, even though he had never lost any money from Carmen.This is a direct Violation of our forums rules.Only people who have dealt with the vendor may post on the situation.This keeps it real so to speak, and is fair to both parties.

The FACTS are that Jon has had no buisness transactions with Cameron.(He was not banned for being a liar but for not following the rules) Other's who have money invested do have the right to post on the subject.Nico is not going to protect buisness that screw people.Cameron has decided not to post on Nico untill he can get everyone that has paid their products out of respect for the board and its members.

I wish he had just followed the very simple rule that had been set forth.

Instead, he chose to take this thing on as a personal "crusade", which is ridiculous, since:

1) He never lost any $$$ to NSR

2) There are plenty of threads on the issue here

3) He alleged he wants to "protect" members of the NICO community as if you guys can't look out for yourselves.

4) He emailed me directly stating he had done biz with Cam, and I even apologized (since I had jumped on him pretty hard, thinking he had NOT been a customer). Wish I had known then what I know now...

I agree his RB knowledge is solid and we have lost a good asset. I'm more than fair (you guys know this to be true) and would be willing to bring him back if he agrees to stick to topics he knows something about and stays out of the whole NSR issue (shouldn't be too much to ask).

Well that was a lot of reading. I have all but stopped coming to this forum now as I have completely given up on my 240 (if you don't know it was sold a while ago). I went back to the DSM camp if you want to know

The only reason I'm still here is because of this issue. So, Cam, you have a date for the people who are getting engines, any kind of date I can expect my money on? Seems you have a couple sources of income, but that doesn't give me any idea how long it will take you to come up with my money. And I really hope you don't still plan on keeping $500 of my money, if you had refunded the money imediatly maybe, but after this long? Come on. I should be making interest on that money

well, not that I am sticking my nose where it doesn't belong. but, technically, Jon was a customer of camerons and DID lose money.

a quote, in cut and paste format, but unmodified. JonPowell said

so, take that for what you will. If jon had planned on selling the sheetmetal after he was done with the clip, then I guess night took the money from him, in a round about way, but none the less. It is also his clip suppliers fault for selling/giving the sheetmetal to him without O.K.-ing it with jon first. but alas, I hope everything works out and this new delivery date is a real one. If it were me, all I can say is there would have been a police report filed a LONG time ago.

you guys know that I dont have much to say, since I've been waiting for my clip for over 10 months now.

all I have to say is, Cameron. I'm not rich and I need a car to drive around, it's cold these days and I'm tired of being a bus hore.
