AZhitman is right. Though Night is kind of blaming NICO...look at the topic name. I don't think anyone had any past history with night. It just got shady recently. Now i know not to deal with him, and this forum is the reason. So der.

It took me 1 year to get my car back from another well known RB-swap company. I know what they're going through as I've been through it. This "we don't care" attitude is disgusting. You volunteer for something but when sh$t goes wrong you run away? please.

Its not the whole money issue. I thought maybe there were some standards, or image that NICO would want to portray. It is not portrayed by accepting sponsorship from a company such as this. It had problems in the past, and obviously still has unresolved problems.

Just personal opinion I know, but its kind of s**tty to have sponsorships like that...it makes you guys look bad.

I kind of agree with 93semax's point(s).

AZ, I'm all for people being cruel, but your post was pretty ignorant.

Its ridiculous to blame any of the mods or NICO as a whole for this, but at the same time its ridiculous to give sponsors any special treatment on the boards beyond allowing them to advertise. My condolesces to everyone involved, let this be a lesson (yet again) in purchasing clips.

93se didn't say that it was NICO's fault that people lost money. You may want to re-read his post. He stated it was ridiculous that NICO accepted the sponsorship knowing that he has had a shady past. This I agree with.

Money Talks-BullS$%t walks..

Speaking of walking, your BS is about to take a long walk.

What exactly would you like us to do? Are you certain that none of our other advertisers have never made poor business decisions? No. Are we responsible for holding your hand and making sure you don't do something with your hard-earned money that you shouldn't do? No.

We believe in giving people a chance to make something happen for themselves. If you don't want to do business with someone, that's fine, and your choice.

Consider the fact that NICO is STILL operating in the red, and will likely be so for the next several months until advertising revenues catch up with expenditures.

Also, if you have an issue with his business practices, why don't you handle it like an adult instead of pissing and moaning on an online forum? Or should I walk you through that process too? After all, my background in law enforcement and the courts system may prove invaluable... But then again, you'd be too busy doing paperwork and making progress, and wouldn't have time to ******.

I concur 100%.

Might be wise to buy the car you wanted with the engine you wanted in the first place... But then you wouldn't be JDM tyte, y0. :rolleyes

It's about Nico allowing night to be a sponsor after all the BS these poor guys went through/going through. It's unethical. All they have to do is pull the banner and refund whatever he paid.

sounds like people blaming the gun instead of the idiot holding it in here.

Night also payed for the banner, if they were to just pull it I don't think it's gonna make them much better than him not sending the products that are supposed to be sent, sure it's on a much smaller level, it's still not right.

That may still happen.

However, if I'm on here in my damn riot gear making sure you guys don't turn this place into downtown L.A., I can't make any progress on the matter.

On a side note, notice that NO ONE has yet contacted an Administrator with their concerns - Perhaps that might be prudent in the future, eh?

this has alot less to do with a company that has had a few screw ups out of the TONS of business they get, and alot more to do with a company that ripped off the majority (if not all) of it's highest paying customers. Tire Rack screwing up a few orders out of the thousands they get is one thing. But, not delivering on every single engine purchased is quite another.AND, if no one said anything on the forum...then no one would know about this company's shady dealings. For the record i haven't seen a moderator step in and protect night...because it's not their job. Nor is it their job to warn all of us about his business habits. Thats what the forum is for...so we can warn each other. So all of our so called *****ing and whining or whatever you would like to call it is the reason many people continue to post...and the more people that post, the more the website looks good to advertisers, and more moderators encourage us NOT to post, the less advertisers the website gets. So why is it a big deal for this topic not to be discussed? all it does is encourage participation on this site. mods insulting users is...well, just self defeating.

I do see a link between Night calling his customers cowards and the mods telling us we should't modify cars, when most of their advertisers are supliers of aftermarket parts. It all kind of defeats the purpose of each companies intentions.

H.O.

For the most part you're right.

However, all I asked is that people who had NO business dealings to refrain from posting... That's fair. Otherwise, it's just noise and interference, and people get all worked up instead of focusing on the facts.

I have never ONCE interfered with the postings of a prior or current customer.

Let's be careful with comments like "every customer" or "ripped off" - Allow those who have issues to state their case for others to see - The rest of us will sit back, read and learn.

As regards "insults", well, let's just say my heart and soul is in NICO - No one comes in my house and disrespects it OR the other thousands of members - I care way too much about it (and you guys) to allow that.

i would say that all anyone not involved should not post, but those people should not comment or speculate. Asking questions about an experience and offering help is different...

i understand about people who are not involved posting.

i also see where you are coming from with regard to protecting NICO. I do not believe i insulted the NICO forums, and if i did...that was not my intention. I believe this forum is very helpfull, and the comunity (for the most part) is great.

I didn't mean to imply that you interfered with someone's posting. Only that sometimes it seems that some mods discourage posting on specific topics (such as this one). And by now i think it is between Night and his customers. And because i am a member of this forum, and i do enjoy the comunity, i offer any help to those who might need it, whatever it might be, to resolve this issue.

I am done posting about it. I just wanted to express my concern for the people involved.

...aaaaaaaaaand, i'm out.

dont get me wrong i love nico. its helping me along the way of nissan life.

its kinda wrong for them to have a banner up for someone that steals your money and never puts OUT....like my ex..lmfao.

THIS WHOLE ISSUE WITH THE MODERATORS IS NOT WARRANTED. THEY HAVE NO SAY OVER HIS BUSINESS PRACTICES, GRANTED I BELIEVE THEY SHOULD HAVE DENIED HIS SPONSERSHIP PENING THE RESULTS OF THESE TRANSACTIONS BUT ITS NOT UP TO THEM WHAT HE DOES. IF SOMEONE PURCHASES FROM CAMERON AND GETS BURNED AT THIS POINT ITS THERE OWN FAULT, REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEY SAW THE AD, PEOPLE SHOULD DO THEIR HOMEWORK BEFORE PURCHASING FROM ANYONE/BUSINESS. THERE ARE ENOUGH THREADS AND WARNINGS ABOUT HIS COMPANY THAT PEOPLE SHOULD BE ON GAURD WHEN DEALING WITH IF NOT THEY ARE THE ONLY ONE TO BLAME. I CONCUR WITH WHAT THE ADMINISTRATORS ARE SAYING AND WE SHOULD ALL STAY OUT OF IT, YES I HAVE HAD DEALINGS WITH CAMERON.... WE WERE ALMOST BUSINESS PARTNERS AT ONE POINT, BUT THIS FIASCO IS WHAT PREVENTED THAT.

I HAVE STATED TIME AND TIME AGAIN AND I TOLD BRYSON WHAT ACTIONS HE SHOULD TAKE ALREADY, SO I'M NOT GOING TO BEAT A DEAD HORSE WITH IT AGAIN. I HOPE FOR EVERYONES SAKE AND TO HELP NICO PROSPER THAT THIS PORBLEM GETS RESOLVED ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. I'VE SAID MY PEICE AND I'LL ONLY RESPOND IN THIS THREAD NOW TO MESSAGES TARGETED FOR OR AT ME. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND IF ANYTHING IS NEEDED I'LL DO WHAT I CAN. I HAVE TONS OF CONNECTIONS AND I MAY BE ABLE TO SWING SOMETHING.

Just to clear up what AZ probably meant by that: When you buy a car it is infinitely easier and less risky to buy a car that comes with the engine you want in it. Not only do you avoid the problems of swapping/importing an engine along with the illegality of it but you also avoid the physical headache of putting it in. If you look at who NICO's sponsors are, for the most part they are not sponsors that directly cater to motorswaps. Rather, they cater to improving the performance and looks of a vehicle in many different ways. Your comment is kind of a moot point because of this since AZ's comment had nothing to do with aftermarket parts but rather with engine swaps. I hope that wasn't too off topic at this point ;) I too think that the idea of NICO members being able to offer help is nice, but it gets out of hand way too easily in these kinds of threads. I'll add my little bit of advice that luckily saved me: always make large purchases with a credit card if at all possible, the credit card companies are very good about taking care of good customers in cases of fraud.

Jan. 2003. I begin talking to Cameron VIA aim and forums about Rbs because I'm interested in purchasing one... I had just purchased a CA18 through venus-auto but decided it wasn't truely what I wanted.

Feb. 2003. I had to tell Cameron I could NOT afford to buy an RB during his "Special Price" month of 2,750.00 because I couldn't get the money in time.

March. 2003. I receive a 5k loan from my bank... the plan is to make a KA-T project.... last minute the RB bug bites me and I decide to go with it.

March. 2003. I begin talking to Cameron again who gives me the AIM name of a guy in FL who received an RB20 through Cameron the same time as Cyris3D and a 3rd guy. He told me he had no problems with it and he was happy with Cameron. Cyris sad he got his... but at the time he had not COMPLAINED about the quality. Cameron was quite the poster.... and being as I live in a ****ty little farm town with no quality Nissans and did not have long distance on my phone because of my situation living with m friend and his family... I had to rely on online reasons. and based off the good repua he had received through past customers and people here I went with it. Engine was suppose to takea maximum of 6 weeks to arrive... placing it in Mid June but for some reason I forget why... oh ya thats right he was waiting on some other people to pay so by the time he ordered it was suppose to be Mid July.

June.2003. I start to see complaints by people saying they hadn't received their RBs from Cameron nor had they heard from him....I begin to get worried and even though mine is not due for a few more weeks I begin to organize with them to get a hold of Cameron and find out whats up. Cameron will now no longer answer his phone...... through some insane detective work somehow someone found otu the engines were comming from RJC tradding out of AZ. A couple calls later I get in contact with a man named Rob. Rob tells me the engines have been paid for and are in fact on the way... they are having problems with customs but they should be ready to ship within the week... he says he had talked to Cameron just a few days prior so he was unsure why we couldn't reach him. I get in contact with Cameron via cell phone a few days later who assures me thinfgs are going ok and Rob has told him 2 clips are about to be sent out... one for Joel... one for Chris(Chachi). A week goes by and NOTHING. So Cameron is unreachable but Rob answers... and tells me the shipping company may have handed teh clips off to anotehr shipper mid-trip reasons (which they do BTW I found out) and they should surface any day... 3 days later he ays they were stolen or something or lost.. so he'll send Joel and Chachi their clips when he sends mine any day now wehen they get out of customs. Cameron still will not answer....... Late July. 2003. Cameron has not answered his phone in weeks.... we've given up on that... court talk is going around... Rob still swears the engines are on their way... he now has an attitude with me when I call... I've found the # to Camerons Parent's house in WA.. his old address where I sent th emoney.... his father is extremely rude and acts like I'm invading their privacy by calling.... a few days later I call again and I woman, probably his mom? is much nicer and tells me she had been trying to get in contact with him as well and would have him call me..........................................ok new post.

and the reason he didnt give my screen name along with the guy with the Rb20.. is because he knew i would tell you how ****ty the clip i got was.. and how long and drawn out it took to get it..
