Any tips for shooting motion shots? Like what shutter speed and ISO I should be using for daytime use? I want to get some good ones at the Carlisle track.

Anything over 1/125 should stop motion, Slow that down and try some panning shots.

snwbrdr435 thanks for the tip on shutter speed, although I think I had it a bit too high most of the weekend. I was shooting on 1/800 and I was even stopping motion of drifters wheels during burnouts. Now i know better for next time.

May I ask what you all use to edit your photos? I use The Canon utility that came with my camera for adjustments on RAW files and then Adobe CS2 for cropping and whatever else. Is it worth it for me to buy Lightroom or something of the sort?

I took this last night with Droid Bionic and then did some super professional editing on Instagram. I know, you guys want to have my babies. I'm accepting applications.


I really like the way I captured the Earth's essence in a really poetic way. Super neat.
