I picked up a 1966 Minolta SRT-101 upon the many exclamation points and such of Razi and Otto on chat, and this thing is really cool. I'm still learning, but here are a couple of pics that turned out really cool:

Very nice! Minolta was one of the best in their time. Sharp lens, what is it?
I don't have a old 35mm slr but it would be so easy since I have 3-4 old Pentax manual lenses.

My scanner really messed with the way these photos look. :(

They aren't great photos, but they got me a good grade.

Shot with my Canon AE-1 Program, 35mm camera.
I love working in the darkroom!

It's mostly my 58mm stock fixed focal length lens, but the one of the light was with my 37mm-105mm 1:3.5 Macro Zoom lens.

The 58mm is fast as hell too. Has a f=1.4 aperture at max setting.

And Warped, that macro shot of the piston is epic.

Thanks, i love my cheap little macro, at that zoom level the focal depth is less than a 16th of an inch.

In this one you can see the pattern in the metal.

Badass!

The fastest manual lens I own is a 30yr 50mm 1.8. I also have a 30 yr old 200mm f/4, 135mm f/3.5, and a 28mm f/2.8. All manual focus and in perfect condition. The 135mm is a Pentax "ring" lens and I lost the adapter for it. :frown: Otherwise they all work on my digital Pentax K10D in manual focus mode and you get a little 'beep' focus confirmation. One of the few awesome things about Pentax DSLRS. :mike
I wish I had the dough to afford the new Pentax K5 (Nikon d7000 sensor inside)... thing is insane

Here's a couple shots I took of my son today... Just got in a couple basic filters and wanted to try them out.. I used a Pentax K2000 with a Hoya UV Filter and Warming filter.

He gets his faces from his father aka Krazy Skwerel

A few shots from Cars & Coffee last weekend.
I wish I brought faster film for that overcast day.
For some shots I ended up having to use a wider aperture than I wanted.

This has to be a kit car. No way a proper Prancing Horse from this era would be sold to be displayed at a cars and coffee. This was a championship era from Ferrari, not some piece of crap like a Jordan or Minardi. The fact that a crown jewel of my country would be replicated like that makes me ill.

That's one reason why I was pretty amazed to see on there.

If it was a replica, every part was well done.
The small patch of padding for the helmet looked pretty worn, but besides that, everything looked brand new.

Here's another angle:
