Look just like the NICO emblem. They are about 1.5" x 3". I assume those are the ones Greg is mailing out.

The ones that cost you $4 are the ones that are glass-etched style. The freebies aren't near as cool :)

I have already been to a drift day....

Been filmed by Redline that will be on Spike TV....They were recording me the whole time I was at the track and gave me tape to put in my camera(which was mounted inside my car).

I have total 3 stickersof NICO on my car... one on quarter panel window and one on the rear....banner type...so I am almost positive they will show up on TV... that is as long as they put meon the show and not cut me out.....:(

Also, I have been in the works for doing a lot of DIY's for a Drifting mag that will be coming out shortly....look for a plug in the mag!!!!!

I also am going to be going to a lot more drift events as well.....hehe...

just don't laugh atme whenyou see me on Redline.... I sucked becuase it was my first time drifting....

why cant you just charge people to be a member of the community? A charge of like $2...and the membership would include a nico window sticker...( think the 2 would cover the sticker and mailing cost)...and even the sponsors might send you a big box of stickers to send out to new members when they sign up as well....

I know the charging for membership prob wont ever be required....

Actually, it used to be. We used to charge $10/year for membership but it's too hard to regulate. Plus, we feel people shouldn't have to pay to be part of such a great community.

Ok. Ive had this idea in my head for a while, but I keep forgetting to talk to Greg about it. How about hitting SCC or another Major magazine to do a small article on NICO and what its about followed by a feature involving some of the best cars on the site including Dr. Birkmire's Skyline if cool with it.(Ex: "Cars of NICO" or something alog those lines). Each car will sport a NICO decal of some sort and represent all the real tuners out there. Personally, I think this is a great way to spread the word about us. Now regarding to how much this will cost of if we are even capable of putting this together, I dont really know. Anyway, watcha think? Is this a possibility for Nico in the future?

the mags have to want to put you in them. you cant just give them money to do a feature of a website, so its highly unlikely your idea will happen.

Well I figured it could work with the help of Dave Cloeman right. Plus if NICO has its race cars up and running, they might be interested. We got some nice cars, old school and new, on here. I wasnt sayiing it'll work, but it still is a possibility if we talk to the right people isnt it?

I am still waiting to hear back from Dave Coleman. We have a connection, as NICO and BRM both sponsor him (minimally).

Keep hitting up all the magazines - An all-out publicity movement needs to happen, and it all counts on you, the members. :)

I had a hella good idea to crank up local members from everyone.. I don't know if its a good idea to you guys. but, LISTEN:I was flipping through car magazines at walmart and I struck up a conversation with a guy doing the same. We talked a bit and then left. And I was thinking "man, I wish there was a place for enthusiasts to get together, everyone that is interested in cars." And then I brought the mag I bought home, and all the subscription cards fell out, and I thought:What if you printed up NICO cards and sent them to interested members? When I go to book stores, walmart, whereever they sell import mags, I could tuck the NICO cards in there. Its like getting advertising for free...

shame I don't have any heavy cardstock. Anyway next time I'm at the school library I plan on using some of their paper, and running off a few sheets front and back in black and white to hand out at cruise night and tag the magazines at the store. Its just not gonna be as cool if its not on a card tho.:-(

SWEET!

I think it's time to print some "official" invitation cards.... Lemme get our high-res logo and fiddle with it, and I'll see how much an arse-load of laminated invitation cards would be...

Keep up the taggin' in the meantime!!!

The only person I can verify that Ive recruited to NICO is some lost soul with a G35 who hangs out at dodgeintrepid.net (one of the many forums I frequent). He bought the G after trading his Intrepid but never seemed to really move on.

The Chrysler guys there give us both a hard time. :)

Oh and a friend with a gen-2 Maxima joined.
