First of all I was banned and the posts were deleted. You and you moderators added posts long after the only one remaining was already closed. Nice to respond with no rebuttal, make sit easier to spin the truth here.

I do my own research on potential advertising sources. If you aren't honest about this why would you be honest about the stats we can't see?
You can track my IP all you want. I cheked B15sentra.net, Freshalloy, NissanForums, Vboards, and others and your site sir is the only one pulling this scam.
You can spin all the bull **** you want, but vBulletin uses what are known as sessions. Sessions are used to track users. The timeout setting determines how long a session remains active after the last known activity. Basically, how long before someone is logged off the forums after they leave. Even if you leave the browser window open you'll be logged out after the timeout period if you aren't actively browsing the site. This is the information used to build the "who's online" list, not some software/cookie mumbo-jumbo.
Here's the actual setting in the administrator control panel. You can clearly see the timeout is configurable at a default of 900 seconds..(15 minutes). Yours has obviously been tweaked to read 8 hours..which sir is deceiving. If done on purpose it shows your character.

Can I ask what the number of users currently online has to do with anything? All it means is that the bulletin board says you have been logged in for X amount of time. According to your quote from AZ, they offer potential sponsors access to a page view/hit counter. If I were a potential advertiser I'd be most interested in how many hits the site got, not how many registered users were currently online (who knows how many unregistered users are viewing at the moment?).
Your argument bears no weight. You have exposed nothing of interest to anyone. Please go whine somewhere else because if they closed your previous posts they will just close this one too...

When a sponsor comes to the page he is directed view to the current online users...as well as the "Most Users Ever Online"
The count shows registered users and GUEST...
Most forums use the default 900 setting which is 15 minutes.. They are using something like 8 hours..
If they are going to push the truth here then they can't be trusted on any other stats they may give out.. The number of posts alone don't support such numbers..
The fact they didn't want to respond without closing it showed they didn't want a conversation on the topic.. only a 1 way spin after the thread was closed

Look, any customers you might have had by advertising on this site you've lost because of your immature behavior.
As for your comment on not trusting the stats on the page views, did you bother to read what AZ said? It's a third party site. I'm sure you could ask them if the stats were "fudged" as you seem to think they are or view the settings to determine how accurate they are based on your apparently very strong views on the subject. I still don't understand why you'd base your advertising scheme off of the "current users online" scheme, or why it would matter at all. It seems to be a very poor business plan.

Many of the sponsors here spend alot of time participating on the boards as well, I'm sure they feel ripped off. Everyone here makes sure to try to support our sponsors, ESPECIALLY the moderators. They are the only reason this place exists, so I think we're unlikely to try to rip them off, especially seeing as NICO is not for profit.

We're all about bringing automotive enthusiasts together, something a lot of sites oppose. But our membership here is SOLID, they're LOYAL, and they enjoy what we have here. Perhaps you should do the same.
