Selling mine. Got the ad in the engine/drivetrain classifieds here on Nico. My 240 died, so the system needs a new home. Best exhaust for the 240. Period. Ever.

Got mine yesterday!

2.5" SS single tip w/22" resonator and high flow cat

Fitment was absolutely perfect and the car sounds amazing now. No loss of torque and a bit more pickup past ~3800 rpm.

Only snag was I had to buy some bigger exhaust bolts since the ones that came were too small.

Also had to manually saw off the exhaust side tow hook with a hack saw blade

Other than that it is wonderful! I'm beyond satisfied

people should make more videos of theirs man...

I will make one of mine once all is done... I installed it, by the way had to saw off some piping as it was too long somehow... not sure why but it was straight piping that needed shortening.. oh well weight savings lol... s13 hatch ka24de so... nothing special.

I have yet to start the car (huge major car overhaul project)... looking forward to it...

Hi, Planning on buying one for the SOHC KA24E S13 Hatchback. How does it fit on the stock exhaust headers? If the stock headers are a certain size (not sure) , it should fit on the cat well w/o any modifcations??Anyone has this for the ka24e? (any soundclips?)Also does the s13 sohc hatchback one works for the sr20det engine exhaust headers in case i wanted to engine swap later...

Thanks all.

Bolts right up to the factory cat, as long as it hasn't been modified.

Soundclips can be found on Page 1.

For SR swap, as long as the cat remains in the same location, it'll bolt right up... There's a ton of these out there on SR-swapped cars.

Is there a discount if I pick it up somewhere in AZ?

Either way, I'll probably be getting one sometime. I've almost got my permit now so watch out! lol.

Btw Greg, what size have you got on your vert? I remember seeing it at the tbf event a while back.

Well my car is back on the road I do have a build thread sort of, but not here, I might post on nico.

Anyways, the exhaust, 2.5" 22" resonator, stainless steel, plus the cat that BRM supplies... lets just say the car is not leaking anywhere but maaan is it loud as hell LOL. I do have polyurethane exhaust mounts, peak performance race transmission mount and cusco engine mount, and stripped interior, with an NA KA, it is a bit much LOL.... It is a raging monster haha. From like 4500rpm-5000rpm the sound is malicious lol. I have to keep under 3000rpm at all times to be safe. Good for gas milage savings :P Bad for performance I guess hehe. Can't wait to take the car to the track.

A header will definitely make it louder.

Let's see, a pic with a body kit... I have one, but mine has been lengthened (so it extends past the kit).

Thanks for all the kind words, guys!

Hey guys/gals,

I've since sold this car, but here's a video from a dyno run with the 2.5" BRM installed. This should give you a good idea of the sound, although it was inside a garage...

Mods at the time were pretty simply - freshly rebuild 'DE, with stock filter box (resonators removed), slight timing advance, and test pipe. I'll have to dig around but there's a run sheet here somewhere.

'Wish I hadn't sold it (damn women), but I'm finally bringing another '91 home this weekend. BRM will be my next exhaust as well!

hey, can you make a straight 4" exhaust system for the s13 body? no muffler, i will not need a flange welded to the front of the exhaust, just 4" from under the drivers side floor board and out the rear of the car on a angle, my email is [email protected]

Got my exhaust in today. Turnaround time was amazing!!! It looks great and I'm sure it'll sound great. Thanks again Greg!!

Oh BTW, I found the flanges and bolts and stuff; they were wrapped up safely with the exhaust so disregard the email I sent ya. Thanks again!

What size resonator do you guys recommend? It's probably going to be on the 2.5"

I'm guessing it'd sound WICKED.

You'll need 3" of course.

The off-idle popping is helped by a resonator, but also indicates some timing issues - Need some fine-tuning there.
