Maybe if you're driving a stock Honda Civic you wouldn't rob any power from it(what power to begin with ) but to say it doesn't rob power? Why don't you go look at how big that hole is through the silencer, then compare it to your stock exhaust, then compare it again to an aftermarket exhaust system like the BRM or others. Tell me how that DOESN'T restrict airflow, and in return, restrict power.

And the to guy above me, yes the 3" system will bolt up to the stock cat. My S14 that I had, had the stock cat, but Greg's 3" Stainless Steel exhaust system with no problems(awesome throaty sound too!). I'd recommend though waiting until you can afford his Hi-flow cat and get that while you're getting the exhaust. You'll be happier in the long run, especially if you're going turbo(don't believe some of the hype. A 3" system will most definetly make your turbo system breathe better over a 2.5" system as I had both in my S13 and the SR20 on stock boost had a NOTICEABLE increase in response when I switched to a 3" system over an HKS Hi-Power 2.5")

Thanks justin for the info! and like grilledcheese said, I'd be up for a freebie but I doubt that Greg is going to inform us how many he has to sell before a freebie system or what not... and even w/ that many ppl would want they system so I assume that it is going to be a surprise that Greg reveals to one lucky customer... now time for me to plan on spending $600 to get a new exhaust for my car - and hopefully I'll have it by december!

Hey Greg, are you planning on doing any specials or anything around Christmas like you did last year?

No problem glad I could help. Having had 2 3" systems on S13's and S14's N/A and turbo alike, I'd like to think I have some experience with Greg's systems. I have to say I haven't heard another exhaust on a 240sx that sounded half as good. If I could have got a BRM exhaust for my C5 that was 2 tip(vs the standard 4) like the Borlas that I got, I would have in a heartbeat.

And to anybody that thinks 600 shipped is expensive for afull SS exhaust w/ resonator and cat, I paid 850 for the Borlas on my Vette(and the 4 tips were $1100!). You're getting off cheap.

nifty... I've been itching over this for a while and my old pipes just rusted the **** out so it looks like I might actually be picking one up soon. Do they all bolt straight up to the stock cat?

Greg,

It's been a month. Can you get the exhaust to me so this ugly incident can be put to rest?

Curious: Will a single tip differ from a dual tip in performance in any possible way or is it purely looks?

I'm currently dual tipped and want to stay that way.

Also, I currently own a RTech Hi-Flow Cat (not installed). I believe it's a 3inch diameter, would that still bolt on to a 2.5 at all? My current setup is 2.5. Pretty sure anyways and I don't know how to check the diamater w/o jacking up the car, taking off one side of the cat and measuring the pipe. =x

(sorry, i'm a nub, okay? but i have dreaaams!)

Got my BRM in last weds. and got it on the car the next day! All i gotta say is, wow. Great build on the exhaust, a little tweeking had to be done but still a great build and fit.

Performance-wise it feels great. and sound tone wise, it sounds great! Absolutely no complaints or regrets! Thanks Greg!!!

Hi Dave, I would like to hear a sound clip of your exhaust.BTW, I have a 4-2-1 header installed. If you can get a sound clip for the car with and without headers, that would be EXCELLENT. If not, I'll take what ya got.thanx

Hmm, $70 to add a resonator? Sounds a little steep to me. But even so, $400 is pretty reasonable for a 2.5" exhaust that performs AND is quiet... I wonder shat shipping would be to Vancouver, Canada?

Hey Greg, this may be a stupid question as I am new here, but I dunno how else to find out.

Currently I've got a straight stock KA in my car and planning on getting an engine swap to an SR sometime in the future. Do you think it'd be easier for me to hold off on the exhaust UNTIL I do the swap, or would carrying the exhaust over to the SR be possible? I'm really liking the reviews, better power and torque response, non-ricey sound... it's like what dreams are made of. But I dunno if it's worth it to get an exhaust setup (headers and all) for my current engine if I plan on doing a swap, but I don't tplan on doing the swap for quite some time.

When you do your swap, the exhaust won't affected. It starts in the same location.

In fact, when you do a swap, you don't even touch the catback. Just the downpipe.

What about the headers (as I've noticed you supply those as well) I'm guessing those would need to be changed?

Other than that, that'd be awesome! Once I get some moremoney together, I may go ahead and get me a dual nozzel one!

No headers - We typically recommend the HotShot for an NA KA.

If you're going with an SR, no need to worry about it.

Greg,What is happening with my exhaust system? I am still very unhappy with it.

I have sent you the pictures you requested of the damage.

I have also took your advice on how to get stop the leak. The exhaust is still way too loud.

I'm hoping we can fix the issues in less time then it took to ship it to me. 5 week was way too long.

Hey, Greg

your exhaust is in the new issue of superstreet, on a serious, serious 240. Anywho, you already know this, as you own and operate that company....

but still, congrats on the mention

Man, I still need to order mine, but transmission/clutch > exhaust.

And I need to get new piping, because I guess it's the dummy cat on my car. One side is bolted on (going to the engine) and the other part is welded on (going to the back). So g'dammit. Need to get it taken care of so that I can bolt the BRM on.*sigh*

And to make sure. The real catalyic converter on a S14 is on the driver side next to the engine right? Or am I wrong?
