So I bought an A/C on the 26th of December and have loved every minute of it so far. I purchased rims (Tenzo CuzcoV1 18") about five days after and they just came today and I was so so happy. Please be brutally honest and tell me if you think the 18"s are too small. I'd just like to hear from fellow coupe owners about what I should focus on next. I was thinking about lowering it (Eibach's), HID kit, Smoke the tail lights, and put an LED strip in the front (in an Audi-like fashion) Please tell me if theres anything I could do that I have overlooked that would make my beauty into a beast.

Those rims are tiny! Should of gone with 22's or 24's. Jk looks good man lowering is def the next appealing mod to do. I'm on 19's tenzo type Ms :D and welcome btw

Thanks haha, and yea they do seem a little small but honestly the extra $350 wouldnt have been worth the extra inch lol. Oh by the way, now that I have aftermarket rims, what do I do about the TPMS system? just leave it as is (continuously warning me)

They installed the tpms on my new rims when I took them for 10 bucks a wheel.

they should be able to take the TPMS sensors off of each wheel and put them on the new wheels (from what I've heard). your car looks nice. next thing is a drop... or tinted windows... it needs tints bad. as for HIDs, DDM tunning sells really great kits (most members have them, including myself). they're like $45 or something like that and work great.... theirs also smoked projector headlights on ebay that would look nice (for like $400 or something like that).

Thanks for the info. Im going to tint the windows in the near future but I think im going to smoke the tail lights before I do that. Definitely going with the HID's from DDM and I think im going to go with 1.7" lowering Eibach's. three more questions; when installing the new springs, do you have to take it in somewhere or can you do it yourself? what percentage tint should I go with? and is it worth it to powder-coat my break calipers?

Definitely need a drop, especially with the aftermarket wheels. Nice choice by the way.

I would take it to a pro mech if you don't know how to do it. Tint 5% all around and 20% front windows. Yes! do it red. Your car looks exactly like mine so I know the outcome is gonna be awesome.

Alright, that all sounds like its going to be really awesome. Eyelids? or would they look to weird? And should I peel off that little pinstripe? I cant decide if I should or not.

Definitely take off that pinstripe.. it doesn't look that good IMO. Eyelids would be cool, a lot of members have them here. Check out BlueBatMobile's overlays and see if you like them.

Not a fan of the wheels, too spokey for me. I like the car color choice. Tints would definitely look nice. Little words of advice:

If you have auto. headlights, then go with the DDM slim kit. I bought the raptor kit which is like $35 and sometimes the ballasts misfires upon ignition when the autolights are on. The slim kit is digital so it wouldn't have that problem....i dont think.

Also keep in mind when lowering you're gonna have to get struts and then an alignment after. IF you have the money, just settle for coilovers.

I feel like an idiot, but I hadnt even thought of that. Ill look into some coilovers (although im not even sure waht exactly that is) and Mike, I was definitely going with the slim ballasts anyways.

Does anyone know of a place to buy tail light fixtures that are already smoked out?

def get the drop next, if you have the money get BC coils, but if your like me i just got the prokit springs. install isnt too hard. i have the LED strip right under my headlights and im getting tired of them, i ordered my yellow fogs from DDM about a week ago. smoking out taillights are easy, if you lived by houston i could do them for you for a cheap price. but all in all do what you want to do...make sure its worth it.

People ask to know what's available. People ask to get opinions. People ask to get suggestions. I got a pretty big pair but still like go get opinions and ask. :picard:

Coupecrazy, really no need to be such a d!ck. Im asking what people think. Not really just doing what people say. Honestly im just asking where to get things from people. But seriously what is your purpose of coming in here where everyone is giving friendly suggestions and have the overwhelming need to be a little b**** about everything. haha seriously just piss off.

...anyways Aphu, where did you get your LED strips and how are they wired? any possibility of a picture?

I like the wheels fellow silver owner! Welcome to nico

most people buy them from Oznium.com. The ones that are called "side emitting LEDs" work pretty good, they are thinner and will fit better between the headlight and bumper.

I wired mine to the parking lights. I don't have a pic but it's not too hard, just connect the positives and negatives. :-)

Tint, drop and a lip on the front, that will make the car.

Btw, good choice on the 18 Tenzo, nothing bad with having some extra rubber there. :)

Hey now, let's keep it classy, ladies and gents!

Welcome to NICO! Rims are good, and from experience, they'll look better after a drop. Eibachs are a good quick fix, but the best all around way to get a good drop that works well and will for a long period of time - coilovers. Search the suspension forum to read about other guys' experiences with them. Specifically a dude named "Loop".

Happy modding!

Ranga, Im with you, I really think thats all im going to do. I need to find a lip that I like. For now the plans are as follows; HID's, LED's everywhere that theres a light, Smoke the tails and eyelids for the heads, tint the windows, and then dropping it with a Prokit (coils are just too expensive)

i had a friend put them in for me but they are connected to the turn signals. i dont know how to put pics on nico but go look at irvxing's post i think its "my little altima build" he has a pic of both of our cars and you can see the LED strip there. and i also switched out all of my interior, trunk, license plate lights to LEDs also, you can get all of them from home depot. the bulbs are called BADA bing. they are super bright. but once i figure out how to put pics up ill def post them.
