ugh...that sucks. The 9887 was about $350 from Crutchfield, but to get the same sound shaping/altering features on the 105 and 9886, you have to buy the $150 adapter With the PXA-H100, the 105 has the same capabilities as the 9887 did correct? Depending on what you find with the 9887 and price, if you can get it, what could you do pricewise on the 105 and the PXA-H100?

homeslicej2-

Do you have a # I could call you at and discuss your options?...... you can simply email it to me. Because if you want to be able to run the auto-tune feature of the Imprint, which is its main feature, then you need to buy a mic kit that is over $100 for the 9887. However, the mic kit is at most $30 for the H100.

And yes, I can still get the 9887! You would be looking at $339 shipped from me for the unit.

S14's are 6.5's front and rear. You would absolutely need an amplifier to drive the Hybrids.

Nope, I never received it!

The CDA-105 is $169The Imprint module is $119The mic kit is $25

Then free shipping on it. You can also call me when you are getting ready to do the auto-tune and I can walk you through some pointers. The directions that come with the software are worthless.

I assume that the auto-tune features work with aftermarket speakers and sub. I am correct? Do I need to call you to pay with a CC or do you prefer PayPal?

Hybrid has the Clarus C61-2 component set and the Legatia L61-2 component set. Any amplifier I carry will be better than the amplifier in any of those vehicles you have listed. I guess I'm not really sure what you mean by "imitate". An amplifier simply amplifies the signal you put into it.

Hey sir, my s13 came with an aftermarket headunit and i think it was too wide for the hu hole because the trim has a cracked place in it and I was wondering if these would fit into the s13 without any worries of cracking or anything. Also I don't have the 2 brackets that came with the OEM single din stereo and was wondering if you could tell me if one of those universal kits at wally world would work to install a hu. Or if you had any advice on how to correctly install without damaging the trim. Thanks for the help in advance and sry for the long post.

Do you have any pictures of the trim. There is no way the head unit would crack the trim unless it was installed really wrong. So with that being said, no, the Alpine head units will not cause your trim to crack. Also, I would simply recommend buying the OEM radio brackets. They won't really cost more than the kit and the kits are real cheesy anyway.

For new stuff that Nissan doesn't make anymore, yeah, that's a decent deal. You can also find people in the classified section (try complete partouts and also interior) who will sell you their used pocket with the brackets for $10-25 + shipping. Sorry it took so long to post, but I got the radio in Monday afternoon and had it installed a couple of hours later (couldn't remember/find where my pioneer "keys" were to pull the old HU out). The HU looks great, sounds awesome, and since it's all black, matches my wife's interior perfectly (the old pioneer was silver). Thanks for the great price and fast shipping Toby

Actually I don't carry the 303. It pales in comparison to the 305 as far as the ease of iPod control. The whole point to the original Alpine iPod radio was the fact that it displayed multiple lines of info like the iPod. Then they came out with their cheaper line of iPod radios which only had one or two lines of info. The successor to those is the 303. The 303 also doesn't display the multiple lines..... which pretty much makes it like one of the regular Alpine CD players. So really the only advantage it has over the standard CD players is that the volume/control knob is bigger. I can special order it if you want though. The package would run $289 shipped.

I'm looking for a component set + amplifier, What would you reccomend? It will be going in a custom door panel so size doesn't really matter.

Do you have any deals on hushmat?
