Hell Yeah!!!!x240xdrifter wrote:i got my CDA-9886 the other day, thank you very much! very happy with it, it is awesome
Not sure how much better the JL's would be over the Type R's!?! Probably a little smoother sounding, but otherwise very comparable. You really need an amplifier with any components you do because they are not very efficient given the external x-overs. Dynamat is not necessary, but highly recommended. If you were going to do the Hybrids, then YES, it's a must!mrgrape wrote:darn that sounds like a lot of money...how about the JLC2650x?would u reccomend an amp on that and is dynomat neccesary?how would these compare to alpine type r components?(previous setup)
but def put me down for CDA-105
I emailed you!aiphanes wrote:Hey bro!

What is your best price?
Thanks,

It's pretty expensive to ship to Puerto Rico. You would need to add another $40 to those prices. It's about $50 to ship a 8 pound package there. Where it's only $10 to ship it anywhere in the USA.240pr06 wrote:hows it going broadfieldcouple of questions.do the shipped prices include puerto rico?

ok thanks, quick questionI think i will get the Alpine iDA-X305 what do i need to install this into the s13? and is there any particular reason you choose this one over a double din?Broadfield wrote:

The 305 is an amazing unit! The double DIN is 3 times the price. So unless you are going to use the features of the double DIN to it's fullest, then it's obviously not worth the money. I include the wiring harness for installing it into the S13. Do you have the factory pocket below your radio now?240pr06 wrote:

Hybrids, I don't know what else to tell you. You can go with any other brand, but the mid-bass won't be as good as the Hybrids. What is your budget for a set of components? That will help me find a set of speakers in your price range..... otherwise I am just going to keep recommending the Hybrids!mrgrape wrote:broadfield im down for cda-105/Im looking for a component system STOCK in the New BMS's, acuras, TSX, etc/they have really good stock sound that packs lot of bass.what do i need for this?
Well, it's pretty rare that we do 5.25" components at the shop, so I don't really stock them. The only ones I stock are the Hybrid Clarus 5.25". However, I can get anything you want from JL, Alpine etc. I would recommend either the Hybrid, obviously, or some form of JL if you are on more of a budget.headhunt3r wrote:Ah... sorry friend fked up, speaker size was actually 5.25 for his fronts, and not 6.5 like he thought Anyways, the question would be... do you have any 5.25 components? lol If so, model / price please!
Thanks Toby!

Uhhh, the 9887's are old. They have actually been carried over for a 3rd model year now. I'm not sure if they are even available anymore, but I can check.homeslicej2 wrote:Broadfield, do you have the new CDA-9887's yet? If so, how much shipped?
