Be careful of this kind of thinking. There's no reason for your Ka to blow if you do things properly. If your goal is 300hp, I'd suggest skipping the budget t25/t28 build in that case. Save about $3000 and do it right the first time with a t3/04 turbo and proper tuning.danield319 wrote:but now its a De and i just wanna push it to its limits and when this blows then go sr
but i want like 300hp right now
Things have a tendency to feel good until you've experienced better. Even Z32 brakes aren't perfect. Z32 brakes are a budget setup versus upgrading to a kit like Brembo, StopTech, etc.Wretched wrote:Everybody that thinks 240 brakes suck must have something wrong with their system.
yeah without forced induction or nitrous you cant pull alot of hp out of the ka.OutToWinPAHC wrote:Thought this thread was going to be worse. I would check the build threads and stickies and see what other are doing. But unless you go high compression, you wont make much from a small, mid compression 2.4 liter engine.
But you could always port and polish the head with mill. Free flowing intake and exhaust system, cam swap, and tuning. Maybe add 20whp
how did teaching someone how to drive blow your motor?danield319 wrote:
i dont care about KA<SR stuff really, my lil ka24e faired pretty well against others until i tought girls to drive and they blew my motor, ahahahah
yeah cuz high hp is good with stock brakesKouki KAT wrote:I love my Q45s just as much as the next person, but the dude said he wants HP, not to stop better.
Do you drive your car on a track at all?Wretched wrote:Everybody that thinks 240 brakes suck must have something wrong with their system. My car stops on a dime...stock brakes, stainless braided lines...but all else stock.
Have you ever been in a 240 with upgraded brakes? The dumb flows well out of this one...Wretched wrote:Everybody that thinks 240 brakes suck must have something wrong with their system. My car stops on a dime...stock brakes, stainless braided lines...but all else stock.
i run a 75 shot on stock timing, nitrous doesnt blow motors, peoples poor installation/jetting blows motors. ive been running nitrous since i was 18 now im 24 and ive never blown a motor. just make sure you got 93 octane from a reputable gas station and you dont skimp on the fuel jet.DrifterProdigy85 wrote:Best power for the buck is Nitrous. And dont give me that crap that it will blow the engine. Be smart about it. Use a 50-75 wet shot and retard timing 1* for every 50 shot used. Also pick up an adjustable fuel pressure regulator as well. Have some fun.
