well i was teaching her and i got a phone call and stepped out and she thought itd be funny to burn out and failed and killed my clutch and flywheel and couldnt figure out why the car wouldnt move so she just floored it and redlined it to much and blew up my already dieing motor, ahahah
And you couldn't hear all that while you were on the phone? If you didn't hit her in the head with a hammer, then you fail.

Anyone that says stock brakes are good for anything other than the daily commute, is a f***tard.

Op, your not going to get 300hp with $1000, but if you spend it wisely you could get 200-250 with a budget ka-t setup. Go spend time reading the ka-t forum for ideas.

Never budget yourself with a turbo kit. Itll leave you sitting with a half a** setup and a F'd up engine. Do it right the first time and spend the money for the right manifold, turbo, lines, tune, injectors, maf, innercooler, piping, exhaust, etc.... Nitrous really is the easy way to get power for under $1000. Everything needed comes in the kit and all you gotta do is fill up the bottle. If your worried about choosing the jet size, heres a calculator for you http://www.coldfusionnitrous.com/calculator.aspx

I never said it was a good idea, I just that it is possible. Besides, he basicly said he just wants to get 300hp for as cheap as possible, and nothing about a 300hp ka-t setup with a $1000 budget will be very reliable.

i have basically nothing into my turbo kit so dont say it cant be done reliably for under 1000. you just gotta jump on great deals. i traded a 240 ac system for a t3 turbo, manifold, wastegate, fmic w/ all piping and clamps etc. im sure i forgot a few other things i got in that deal. then i got a vortec fmu for like 20, and another t3 turbo for a z32 maf that i got for free. then traded some civic lowering springs for some oil lines. springs came off a civic i parted out and made my money off of so no money spent/lost there

honestly focus on handling and braking before you make your car fast. im only 18 and i say this. i did it on all 3 of my cars i have owned and its a way better place to put a little money here and there than in the motor. also your tires are the most important handling factor on your car. no impovements in braking ability or handling can be useful if your tires dont transfer it to the ground. a quality set of tires will do wonders

i just spent $280 on some drilled and slotted rotors hawk hps front pads and ebc green rears and it is a hugeee difference in braking ability. very much worth the money. i'de do it over in a second

wouldnt they actually help a bit. Im thinkin by 1 km/h? they should make the car more aerodynamic. anyways what i startied to think is making the car aerodynamic would help proformence. washing the dirt off of the car is one major factor.

i dunno, maybe im just pissing in the wind
