Op, your not going to get 300hp with $1000, but if you spend it wisely you could get 200-250 with a budget ka-t setup. Go spend time reading the ka-t forum for ideas.
Never budget yourself with a turbo kit. Itll leave you sitting with a half a** setup and a F'd up engine. Do it right the first time and spend the money for the right manifold, turbo, lines, tune, injectors, maf, innercooler, piping, exhaust, etc.... Nitrous really is the easy way to get power for under $1000. Everything needed comes in the kit and all you gotta do is fill up the bottle.
