I know I am. I'll have to call Wes (sd8ted) and see if he's going or not. If Wes is there, the rest of his crew will be too.

If I'm in town the weekend of the March meet, I will most likely come by. I've been wanting to get to know some of the local GSP Nissan fanatics. Plus, an opportunity to get to put some faces with all of the screen names I see here and on ka-t.org.

Mike/Old Guy/Simpsonville/'95 240SX KA-T

Current setup...will most likely be entirely redone by March (hopefully )

I seriously believe there is more support for the 2JZ-GTE engine here in the US than a RB26DETT. For an RB I would have been constrained in resourcing everything I needed and everything I will need later on for mods.

Well, it's not like I didn't warn you of this back at the beginning of the thread. But anyway, I'm sure we'll meet up sometime. Like the next meet you guys do (tail of the dragon?), or Formula Drift at Road Atlanta?

Actually I'll be in Atlanta next weekend for the Dyno Meet. Are you going to the DRift Event in Virginia? It's 17 & 18th of Feb? It's gonna be fun!

Okay guys good news, I think I have a place to meet. It's called Sunliner Auto. It's actually in Spartanburg, which is like 20 minutes North of Greenville. I am going Tuesday to check out the parking lot size/building size. They have a dyno that we are going to be able to use. You will recieve a color print-out of the results. I'm not sure on pricing yet, I'll have to discuss it with the person on Teusday. So far the place sounds like a really good spot. The place is located off of Ext 63 (HWY 290) off of I-85. Its 3 miles off of the exit (Right if you are coming North, Left if you are coming South) The lady that I talked with said that the parking lot was big enought for a meet BUT was not big enough for a drift compition. She said they were in the process of expanding their parking lot and that later on in the year, we could, possibly have a drift meet. I also need to get in touch with Project Auto Salon who will help sponsor the meet! So guys, get all your friends together and ask off work! This is gonna be fun... !!!!

I won't be at the dyno meet because I have to work (I'll be working 7 days/week for the rest of the month because of a project that I *have* to have done by the end of january).

As for the drift event in VA, I didn't know anything about it. But I doubt I'll be there. I have to save money because I'm going to a wedding in Peru on March 1st.

Okay, so I went and got us a place. Sunline Automotive (the owner actually has a 300zx his buidling, so he was happy to have our meet there)Hwy 290 Spartanburg/Duncan AreaFrom I85 Exit 63 (coming North take a right off of the exit ramp- coming South take a left)About 3 miles on the right, right in front of a Sonic. What they are offering:*Dyno competition (there will be a entry fee but it won't be crazy alot. I'm working out the details with her now) The winner will get prizes which I'm working out the details of that as well. There may be some from Project Auto Salon. All partacipants get some sort of gift certificate and a color-print out of your run. Even if my car is still stock, I'm going to Dyno it. So dont let the "Competion" part discourage you from doing it. *Nitrogen for your tires. They fill all four for like 30-40 bucks with Nitrogen. It runs cooler and is better for racing, drifting, ECt...*Alignments- you come in with your specific Drifting Specs and they align your car to match it.*Wireless internet, you can browse through their products.* FREE (yes I said free) FREEEE FREEE car washes all day long** They are also setting up a living-room type area with TV's... I'm going to see about maybe hooking up some Xbox's. HOTEL INFORMATION:I only had a few people resonde so far about needing a hotel room. The more people we get, the cheaper it is. So far I have 10, yes 10 rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn. The prices per room, you can chose king or 2 double, is 70 bucks a night. I'm going to have them reserved for that Saturday night and the following Sunday morning. That way you can check in and come to the meet and won't have to worry about checking out Saturday and having to bring all your stuff with you. If you are going to need it Friday night, let me know. HAMPTON INNSame exit/directions as above. The Hampton INN is located directly off the exit ramp behind Denny's. You'll see it. The road is Spartangreens BLD. I'll have excact addresses soon. I left their business cards at home. I NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY HOTEL ROOMS YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT I HAVE ENOUGH. FOOD (I know this is what you guys have ALL been waiting for)COST- 7 bucks a person. Paypal to me [email protected] on or by the Friday before. I'll be going to the grocery store that night and purchasing drinks. I was thinking like can Dr. Peppers, Diet Coke, Pepsi, and maybe some bottled water. IF you want me to get something else let me know. I'll be bringing a grill and coolers and stuff. I'll get some hotdogs/hamburger stuff. Oh yea, and some chips. If you want something else, or your a vegitarian (haha) let me know.
